Join the Pro-Active Alliance on Friday, May 1st for local action and community connection!

May 1 - International Workers’ Day - has its roots in the labor movement’s fight for fair wages, safe conditions, and the eight-hour workday. Today, it remains a global symbol of solidarity, collective power, and the ongoing fight for economic and social justice.
To honor that spirit, we'll be supporting locally owned businesses and boycotting big box stores and corporations that support the current administration. We’ll gather for lunch at @11hauzjamaicanfood a women-owned authentic Jamaican restaurant. After lunch we'll take a walk through Newpark and Redstone shopping centers to highlight women-owned and locally owned businesses. Shopping is encouraged; please try to pay with cash to keep dollars in our community.

We’ll also help you get election-ready, with opportunities to check your voter registration and access key voting information.

Stand with your neighbors, support local businesses, and take practical steps to strengthen your voice in the democratic process.
Note: There will be no Coffee Tawk on May 1st; join us for this May Day event instead!
Here's the schedule:
Friday, May 1st -
11:30 Lunch at 11 Hauz, 1241 Center Drive, Newpark
Enjoy a taste of Jamaica, mingle with friends and make sure you're ready to vote in the upcoming primary as well as the general election. Candidate, precinct and house district information will be available.

1:00 Explore local shopping options
Join us for a walk-about through the Newpark and Redstone shopping centers where we'll highlight women-owned and locally owned businesses offering products that you might typically buy online. (See map below.) Bring cash if you can and shop local to keep your dollars in the community. #womensmarch #shoplocal #proactivealliance

Richfield was a blast!
@peter_knudtsen and @elifrandsen are absolute dawgs for putting on this event, I’m already itching for next year.

Thanks @srammtb for providing the best goods in the game and @zanesshredface for getting my suspension feeling like a trophy truck🧈

Our founder decided to go for a little pedal around the Smith and Morehouse Yurt. What she found was technical, beautiful, and full on advanced adventure trail riding conditions.

“These trails are for the advanced rider who understands that sometimes we hike when we bike, because it makes the biking that much sweeter!”

The yurt to yurt MTB trail network is a spectacular adventure for those who are looking for their next MTB challenge.
