How do you put into words what a place has meant to you? My second home for almost 12 years! The deli was not just a job, but a core part of my life. I started in my late 20’s, turned 30 and 40 there. Met my husband while there and had both my beautiful babies while there.

Made countless life long friendships and made beautiful food arrangements to celebrate people all over the city of Westerville and beyond. Learned more about myself as a person and what I wanted from in life than from any schooling.

But now it’s time to say goodbye. Although I am stepping down as manager of the deli, the friends I have made and the memories I have shared will always be with me!

So if you are in town, join me on Thursday August 20th for my last day! Share a memory and a pint of your choice!

Story time: 🐶👅
You will not believe what happened to me this past week. I was strolling down the path at the park, when I heard a strange noise. I started kicking and pulling. My parents were confused to say the least, because I am usually an excellent walker! I knew I wasn't crazy. There was something out there in the wilderness, I just had to find it. All of a sudden I hear mom scream "TURKEY" And 2 big wild turkeys and what felt like 100 baby turkeys jumped out of the fence 🦃. Were they my friends? Were they dinner? I didn't know the answer, so I left them alone to wonder off. 🌳 I miss those turkeys. And the park. And the pretty blue bird I saw fly away🐦That's all for now! ☀️
