What a way to close out a PSA1! Titling a dog is not a linear process. There are ups and downs and growth to overcome. Isaiah and Jean stepped on the field and put together one hell of a performance, walking away with their PSA1 and a stack of awards: 🏆 High Obedience 🏆 High in Trial 🏆 High Owner Trained 🏆 High Club — Dogma Demons 😈 Watching this team grow, put in the work, and then have it all come together on trial day was something special. Nothing handed to them. Nothing accidental. Just good training, trust between dog and handler, and a lot of work behind the scenes. Proud to be one of Isaiah’s mentors 🫶 #dogmaacademyfordogtrainers #dogmademons #PSA1

I don’t think I’ll ever have a dog like him again in this lifetime but I’ll be searching forever for it 🥺 For the last month I’ve been saying I wasn’t going to sign him up for this but after going through the walk through I decided to have some fun since we don’t plan to trial until next year. We didn’t prepare for this in any way so our secondary struggled but there is no question this dog loves some good PPD scenarios. Out of 11 dogs in total Kang placed 3rd in the suit division. Very bitter sweet considering his first competition was bar bites 2 years ago. Very thankful for the people in our corner right now that are helping me build him up💚

Quarrel in the Café | August 15th 2026 Not every argument needs a dog. A true protection dog knows the difference. Quarrel in the Café is a realistic, scenario-based protection tournament that puts teams in one of the most unpredictable public environments imaginable—a busy diner. Surrounded by customers, food, conversations, close quarters, and constant distractions, dogs must demonstrate exceptional neutrality, obedience, and environmental confidence while remaining ready to protect when the situation genuinely calls for it. The scenario begins like any ordinary trip to a neighborhood café. As tensions rise and a disagreement unfolds, handlers and dogs will be challenged to distinguish between everyday conflict and a legitimate threat. The dog must remain composed through the noise and chaos, then transition instantly into decisive protection only when the handler is truly in danger. This event rewards the qualities that define an exceptional protection dog: * Calm, confident public access * Environmental neutrality * Sound judgment under pressure * Powerful, committed protection when justified * Immediate control and obedience once the threat has ended From the Puppy Division to the Sleeve, Suit, and Muzzle Divisions, every competitor will face the same fundamental test: Can your dog think before it acts? Because the best protection dogs aren’t the ones that bite first—they’re the ones that know exactly when they should. Judge: Marquise Berry Decoys: Isaiah Genao, DeeJay Branch, Sean Doogs, Kash Howe Entry Fee: $100 DM us to sign up! Shirts and hoodies available for sale! Belated post, but for the 4th year in a row I spent my birthday with my wonderful friends at @dogmaacademyfordogtrainers.llc Very lucky to have such fantastic people in my corner. Spent a couple days cleaning up some level 2/2.5 behaviors, in preperation for our level 2 mock trial in September. I cannot overstate how much I love the process with this dog. No matter what the assigment, he gives me everything he has and then some.

Dogs 101 isn’t about teaching dogs. It’s about understanding them. This class focuses on the psychology behind dog training—how dogs learn, why behaviors happen, and how to communicate clearly and effectively. Before obedience, before behavior modification, before sport work, there must be understanding. Congratulations to our newest Dogs 101 graduates. The journey to becoming a better trainer starts with learning how dogs think. #DogmaAcademy #Dogs101 #DogTrainingEducation #DogPsychology #SchoolForDogTrainers

Teaching dog trainers to think with their hands too. In a world focused only on results, we believe craftsmanship still matters. These students didn’t just buy gear — they designed it, cut it, built it, and put their own identity into it. #handmade #customapron #thedogmaway
