The Biltwell 100 2026 edition, last minute decision to go to California for 5 days to race 75miles in the desert 🏜️ .
The idea? Pre run the bike to race the Baja 1000 and pick up my 1988 Ford Econoline that will be our chase truck during the Baja 1000 two weeks later + fly in as much spare parts as I can carry to build the race bike.

We raced and we raced hard, probably the fastest racing on a 60s Triumph I ever did. Had a great start having the lead for a couple of second to have Florian & Forrest pass me and battle hard all day, Florian had a crash and lost the lead which led to me and Forrest going after it to the finish line. We came seconds apart. It was rad, so freaking rad! Fast dudes racing very old fast bikes, on a rough terrain 🔥!

Biltwell 100 was everything I expected and more. Drove from NYC to Cali and back by myself to race a 50 year old British desert sled in the expert class. Finished 9th out of over 20 people. Got a friend to make the same trip and race for the first time, made some new friends, saw some old ones. Racing is the coolest thing you can do on a motorcycle, and it was an honor to be a part a race that honored the motorcycles that invented desert racing in the 60s. Thank you to Fumi and Joe Zito for keeping my bike dialed. I’ll be spending the next 300+ days thinking about lining up next to my friends and beating the hell out of these old bikes again.

No better time to do a cross country road trip than when gas prices are $5+. We drove to California for the Biltwell 100, an epic motorcycle race out in the desert. Along the way we saw a lot of friends and family. It was awesome. The road goes on forever and the party never ends 🥴🤙🏻

Our cuts, swollen parts, scrapes, and bruises haven’t even healed yet, and we are already looking forward to the next race. Check out this 1969 Triumph TR6 survivor. Loss of spark and just needs overall tuning for the next adventure that’s ahead for this beast! Owwww my back…
