Hump Day!!

Had to take a little time off mentally from the ‘Gram to get my shit together for 3 fantasy football drafts in one week 😬 but I’m back baby!!

This powerhouse of a stout from my two personal favorite joints (stout game top tier, fight me in a Walmart parking lot shirtless if you dare disagree!!)
@horusagedales x @eqbrewery
Accipater (Batch 2) 11%abv

Untappd description:

we conditioned this viscous stout on Shredded Coconut, Macaroon Coconut, Coconut Macaroon Cookies, Thai Bananas, and Cacao Nibs. Accipiter pours nighthawk black with a creamy tan head releasing aromas of bake-shop macaroons, fresh brownies, coconut, and decedent banana. Viscous and syrup like, this fudge base is kissed with sweet coconut flakes and balanced banana flavor letting your first sip evolve from swirls of fudge, nougat, vanilla, pulverized Mounds bar, and spoons of banana cream pie wrapped up in high gravity thick finish. Please enjoy this creation close to room temperature and drink fresh to take advantage of what these adjuncts have to offer.

My description:
This is the shit. Look at that head 👀 Thicc. Macaroon City. Not too sweet, but it’ll getcha! Exactly what you want in a stout, and I don’t even like banana but are they prominent in this— nope. It’s like Kyle knows what the people want and delivers, every god damn time!! Takes me back to when I first got hooked on Horus, some PB stout I shared with FakeJohnPat on his back porch overlooking the ocean. Just felt at home and at peace with the world, everything made sense then. So I nosedived into the world of Horus and never looked back. Eq just drops hammer after hammer of banging stouts, so if you don’t know— you’re welcome.

In the immortal words of my lord and savior Tom Brady, L e t s F u c k i n G o ! !

Cheers fam!!

Had the pleasure of busting this big boi out with some good company and Maui Wowie it’s good. They said Drink Fresh Don’t Cellar so I listened. Killer nutty sauce with a little more bourbon heat than usual made for a delicious treat. Top o’the morning and a tip of my cap to @hicksopeners for creating these bad MF openers, because if you ask Real Fake JohnPat, I used to be scared of them waxibois. God bless your soul.
Cheers fam!

Cry Cry Cry
@calusabrewing

Triple IPA. Very nice brew, hides the high ABV and is not overly sweet. Very smooth and packed with hoppy hazy juice with great bitterness to balance.

Summation
@3sonsbrewingco

There are a lot of really good barrel aged stouts out there. But you can tell instantly when you have a great one.

The bold complexity of the nose and the flavor simply set this beer apart. Certainly a boozy barrel but the vanilla has become marshmallow and the coffee is just so mellow.
Granted, it is not super thick and viscous, but it is deliciously smooth and so well balanced.

Thanks Lenny @omglolkitties , this is awesome.

Tremenda Bomba
@jwakefieldbeer

Don’t quite know how they came up with this combination of fruit for a sour, but it works very well.
Apricot, Mango, Orange, Strawberry.
Fantastic tartness, a bright acidity, and a creaminess from the lactose makes a delicious sour.

Thanks Lenny @omglolkitties

It’s Showtime
@trippinganimalsbrewing
@corporateladderbrewing

A proper tart sour ale from two of Florida’s best new breweries. Loads of pineapple and a touch of peach that is complimented by a pleasant earthy sweetness from Florida blossom honey, a viscous sweetness that sits and lasts on the palate.
