Rib Fest recovery mode, engaged. Sending out a massive thank you to all the vendors, judges, & attendees of this year’s two-day ripper. The competition was fierce, the ribs (& other bites) were delicious, & the beer kept us all cool in the Sunday heat check. Congrats to all of the Rib Fest winners & runners-up, some of which came down to the slimmest margins of victory (one vote). Here are your 2026 Big Bad Wolfie’s Mighty Fine Rib Fest award winners: Saturday: • Peoples’ Champ — Dixie Dank BBQ • Peoples’ Runner-up — Smoky Soul BBQ • Judges’ Champ — Land of Lincoln • Judges’ Runner-up — Umamicue Sunday: • Peoples’ Champ — Stout’s BBQ • Peoples’ Runner-up — Smoky Soul BBQ • Judges’ Champ — Umamicue • Judges’ Runner-up — Firewater BBQ
