It still makes me giggle shooting this @straightjacketarmory 7SAW. This thing has no business being as accurate as it is for what it weighs, but it just keeps knocking them out

WE HAVE A CHOICE ABOUT WHERE WE INVEST IN OUR HEALTH.

I often think about this:

"We can invest in nourishing our bodies today, or risk paying a much higher price for poor health tomorrow."

Of course, healthy eating cannot prevent every illness or replace medical care. But our everyday food choices are one of the most powerful ways we can support our long-term health.

At DRINK 182 CAFE, I want our customers to understand that every ingredient has a story, every farmer has a purpose, and every meal is an opportunity to nourish our bodies while respecting our planet.

🚗 So yes, I will continue driving those extra miles, without thinking twice, because I would rather go the extra mile for quality than take shortcuts with the food I serve my community.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Argyle Acres family for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to responsible farming. You inspire us to keep building a healthier, more sustainable Utah, one meal at a time.

From their farm to our kitchen, and from our mobile kitchen to your table. 🌱

🇻🇪❤️🇺🇸 MORE THAN AN AREPA… A PIECE OF MY ROOTS, MY IDENTITY, AND MY HEART ❤️

An arepa is more than food. It is a symbol of where I come from, the family values I grew up with, the traditions that shaped me, and the resilience that has made me who I am today.

💛💙❤️ 👱‍♀️ 🤍💙❤️

Leving Venezuela 25 years ago has taught me to be strong, to work hard, to share what I have, and to never forget my roots, no matter how far life takes me.
And Utah has given me something incredibly beautiful: a community that reminds me that HOME is not only where we are born, but also where we are loved, welcomed, and surrounded by people who lift each other up. 🏔️❤️
Through DRINK 182 CAFE, my passion for healthy food, my incredible skydiving family, and the friendships I've built along the way, I have learned that love, kindness, respect, and community have no borders.
We come from different countries, speak different languages, have different traditions, and see the world through different eyes. But those differences are what make our journey so beautiful. 🌎
We don't need to be the same to care for one another. We just need open hearts, patience, compassion, and the willingness to grow together.
Every arepa I prepare carries a little piece of Venezuela, my family's love, my memories, and my gratitude for the people who have become part of my journey here in Utah.
Because at the end of the day, life is not about how much we have, but about the people we surround ourselves with, the love we share, and the difference we make in each other's lives.
From Venezuela to Utah, from my kitchen to your table, from the ground to the sky… 🪂
NO BORDERS. NO BARRIERS. JUST LOVE, RESILIENCE, AND COMMUNITY. ❤️
Thank you, Utah, for embracing my roots and allowing me to share a little piece of my Venezuela with you.
🇻🇪 Mis raíces son mi fuerza, mi familia es mi inspiración y mi comunidad es mi hogar. 🇺🇸
With love.

MPA Last Chance Qualifier — Cool Acres | Match Report

Well, my first national-level PRS match is officially in the books, and let’s just say Cool Acres was pretty generous with the reality checks. 😂

87th out of 93 shooters | 114/200 points | 57%

Not exactly the finish I was hoping for, but I walked away with a much better understanding of where my shooting needs improvement.

Over 20 stages, I managed to clean two of them and went 11/12 on another. There were moments when everything came together, the rifle was stable, and the impacts were right where they needed to be.

Then there were the stages where I apparently forgot how to do all of that. 😂

But here’s the number that really caught my attention: 42 no-shots.

Out of 200 possible shots, I only managed to fire 158. Of those, I connected with 114, giving me a 72% hit rate on the rounds I actually sent.

And here’s something worth mentioning: Gungnir’s 6 Dasher barrel is now sitting north of 2,700 rounds. It’s getting into the territory where barrel life becomes a legitimate consideration, yet it’s still putting in work. For a barrel with that many rounds down it, I’m pretty impressed with how well it’s holding up.

Which makes it a little harder to blame the equipment when I’m the one running out of time. 😂

My biggest problem wasn’t necessarily making impacts. It was getting stable, building positions efficiently, and getting those shots off before the 95-second par time expired.

There’s a big difference between being able to make a shot and being able to make it under match conditions.

That’s where my training needs to go next. More efficient position building, smoother transitions, and learning to work within the clock without sacrificing stability.

I’m not going to pretend 87th place feels great, but I’m also not going to overlook the progress or the things I did well. This was my first national-level match, and I got exactly what I needed out of it: a clear picture of what needs work.

Still figuring this shit out, one stage at a time.

Nice fallow we got on the ground in some steep country! 🦌

This day had it all! We’d shot a few pigs just 15 minutes before coming across this fella, and to top it all off, my best mate got his first ever buck! What a day to be out in the bush!

The trusty Tikka T3X .223 got the job done again! 💥 Just goes to show, it’s all about shot placement! 🎯

Stage 6 at the @freestoneshootingcomplex September PRS match. The mover was fun. Got a little too ahead of myself and pulled one low. The other I’m not sure why it was low, but it be like that sometimes. This would’ve been really cool if I cleaned this stage. Oh well, either way it was a ton of fun and I’m really happy with this setup.
