Finally got to photography one of my all-time favorite artists last night.⁣

I first (and last) saw James Blake at Bowery Ballroom in 2011. I had no idea working as press was even an option back then, but I had my camera. The second to last slide is a photo I took at that show. It's awful, but it's mine.

Big thanks to James Blake for an unforgettable show.

🛸 @jamesblake’s Retrograde hits differently 9 years later a far cry from the set at Laneway. A different venue (mind blowing stunning one to be exact @ufo_berlin) in a different continent. I’m clearly a different person now.

I’m proud that it took them 13 years to deliver all of these analog goodness live without a laptop. It’s bare and vulnerable accompanied with a visual treat by @lightundrabushell ✨

James Blake

Shot for @allthingsloud

First of all, happy belated birthday. His birthday was yesterday during his stop at a soldout 013 in Tilburg. Fans at the front brought him flowers for his birthday and who wouldn’t give him his flowers.

A great artist that could you make dance or be emotional for the moment. His latest album ‘Playing Robots Into Heaven’ brings him back to the electronic side of music where he started.

Shoutout to @lightundrabushell for the design. It looks incredible, beautifully executed and the show looks amazing.

There’s one more person to shoutout. The artist that captures James and the rest of the crew for years on / off the road. He’s also great behind the drums, it is @joshinfilm.
