#savitribaiphule #feminism #womenempowerment #awareness #girls

When we really start to think about it, the story becomes uncomfortable. For years, girls were being eliminated before they could even live, simply because families preferred sons. The government banned it to protect girls, and that law was necessary. But it also revealed something disturbing: a society had reached a point where legal force was required just to ensure daughters could be born. And everyone knew what would happen if girls kept disappearing… millions of men left without partners, families struggling to continue, and an entire demographic imbalance. But the question that remains is deeper than the law itself. Because ensuring girls are born is only the first step. If daughters still grow up being reminded they are temporary in their own homes, still told to adjust, shrink, and prepare for another household, then the conversation about protecting them is far from finished. Now women are getting jobs, living uncomfortably just to run from marriage, but how long? They are forced to choose someone by their family and are manipulated into getting married at some point to carry family reputation.
