POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Stopped by Strateres Design Studio today and had the chance to spend some time around a team that clearly cares about the details.

One of the things we appreciate most about working in the luxury residential world is how much better a project becomes when architecture, interiors, lighting, and technology are considered together from the beginning—not treated as separate pieces.

Great design should feel intentional. Great technology should support it without getting in the way.

Always good connecting with people who approach their work with the same level of thought and care.

What’s one detail you think makes the biggest difference in a well-designed home?

Everyone knows a work/life balance is always a struggle. It especially hits different when owning a company. Its hard to turn the switch off, even when you’re technically “off”

With this year being the last time Cedia is hosting in Denver for a bit, we wanted to make that work/life balance not be two separate things….atleast for the week 😂

There’s sacrifices that come with owning a company, but there’s also something pretty incredible about looking around and realizing that what you’ve built is something you genuinely care about.

This career has given me opportunities and experiences that I never could have predicted when first starting. But without the support of @tiffanysordillo none of this would be possible. I usually keep most of my personal life close to the chest, and maintain this account to focus on the professional end of posts. But having my family beside me this week while creating that work/life balance was definitely needed.

So take a look through some of our favorite partner booths and products, and see the other end of the Denver experience! Even the new driver-less Waymos cruising around 🤣

The best smart homes are planned before the walls close.

In our latest YouTube video, we take you inside our renovation project in Sudbury to show how lighting, whole-home audio, video, wiring, and smart controls are coordinated from the very beginning. We also visit the Strateres Design Studio to explore the Sonance and Lutron products helping bring the plan to life. The goal is thoughtful technology that feels intuitive, refined, and effortless to use while remaining beautifully integrated into the home.

Championship culture isn’t just for the football field. It is built on trust, clear communication, and real leadership.

Members of the NEDC team had an incredible night learning from New England Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo and legend @matthewslater53 at the @strateres Design Studio. Huge thanks to @daisysmartspace for hosting a masterclass on teamwork, grit, and what it takes to drive excellence in both sports and business. Left feeling incredibly inspired!

Your remote should control more than just the TV. 👀

Most people still think of a remote as something that changes channels and adjusts volume…

But a true smart home remote can control the entire experience from one place. ⚡️

🎬 Start a movie
💡 Dim the lights
🌡️ Adjust the temperature
🔊 Control the audio
📺 Manage every TV and streaming source
🪟 Lower the shades
🏠 Trigger full-home scenes

All without bouncing between apps, searching for your phone, or explaining to guests which controller does what.

That’s the part of smart home technology people don’t understand until they actually live with it:

The best control system doesn’t add more technology to your life… it makes all the technology you already have feel simpler.

👇 Be honest — if one remote could control your entire home, what’s the FIRST thing you’d want it to do?

There’s a difference between buying a TV and experiencing one.

Last week, the SimpleHome team spent time at Stratere’s showroom for hands-on training with Sony’s BRAVIA Professional Display lineup, led by Sony’s Nick Kokkinos. These displays are part of Sony’s Professional Solutions portfolio and are available exclusively through authorized custom integration partners, not big box retailers.

Why does that matter?

Because a great display is only one part of the equation. Proper sizing, placement, calibration, lighting integration, audio performance, control systems, and network infrastructure all play a role in creating an exceptional viewing experience.

Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays deliver:
• Stunning color accuracy and contrast
• Exceptional motion handling for sports and film
• Commercial-grade reliability
• Integration with the broader smart home ecosystem
• Screen sizes and performance options for virtually any space

A special thank you to Stratere’s for hosting us and continuing to invest in education and training for the custom integration community.

Interested in seeing the difference for yourself? Through our partnership with Stratere’s, SimpleHome can arrange private showroom tours and demonstrations so you can experience these displays in a fully integrated environment before making a decision.

The best technology doesn’t just look good on a spec sheet, it feels different when you experience it.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to sit down with Mike Cleary and the team from Sonance for a collaborative roundtable discussion at Strateres.

From product roadmaps and upcoming releases to process improvements, education, and the challenges shaping our industry, these conversations are invaluable. The best solutions come from sharing ideas, learning from one another, and staying aligned on how technology can continue to enhance the spaces we create.

Thank you to Mike and the Sonance team for the partnership, insight, and forward-thinking discussion. Excited for what’s ahead.

Last week we hosted our Design for Joy workshop at the Strateres showroom in partnership with Lutron, Leon, SimpleHome, Strateres, and Sonance. We invited participants to join us for an evening of inspiration - exploring the impact of light, wellness, and art in the home.

We began with a thought-provoking presentation and visualization exercises, followed by the group breaking out into a vision boarding activity. The vision boarding helps attendees to let their creativity flow and what results is incredible - each person has their own individual interpretation which allows for each vision board to be entirely unique.

Thank you so much to our partners for helping us put together such a lovely evening! And special shoutouts to wakaNine for being our raffle sponsor, Off the Vine catering for the most incredible spread of food, and Premier Bar Services for the wonderful beverages.
