Theme: Alter Ego. My baby photoshoot with the most fun alt people to be around 🤎😝

There are days when I feel less like a person and more like an accumulation of witnesses.

A daughter. A lover. A stranger in a photograph. A face remembered more vividly by someone else than by me.

Love has never frightened me because it ends. Love frightens me because every person who knows you leaves their fingerprints on the way you return to yourself. Sometimes they pull so gently you don't notice until one day you're breathing through a life that fits everyone else's hands better than your own.

Maybe that's what the corset has always been.
A negotiation between who you are and who survives being seen.

Sometimes I can't tell whether I'm looking at myself or rehearsing the version I learned other people could love.

Maybe that's what dissociation is, arriving one day and realizing someone else furnished the room.

With hair ablaze
And eyes as piercing as the blade of a sword
Her presence captures you
And her memory will ever stalk your thoughts;
Before that brief encounter she did not exist to you
And in the blink of an eye she has become unforgettable….
