As many of you all know, during the actor strike, we weren’t allowed to share much of anything about American projects. So now that it is long behind us and Christmas knocking at our door, I’m thrilled to finally share some behind-the-scenes moments of my Christmas movie ‘Twas the Text Before Christmas! 🎄 Excited to have been part of this heartwarming tale, written by Cara J. Russell and directed by T.W. Peacocke. I play James’s niece Paige – the real star of the show (or so I’ve been told🤣). Working alongside Trevor Donovan, Merritt Patterson, Jayne Eastwood, Eric Peterson, Tara Andrea Lyle and my amazing on-screen parents, Marisa McIntyre and Derek Moran, was a fantastic experience! 🌟 From on-set laughter to napping with icon Jayne Eastwood between takes on night shoots, every moment was unforgettable✨ I’m incredibly proud of the collaboration with the talented cast and crew, whose camaraderie made this project very special. The love and support onset and the long-lasting friendships mean everything to me💜 Check it out on the Great American Family network in the US🇺🇸 and here in Canada on Super Channel through Amazon Prime and Pure Flix 🇨🇦 #ChristmasMovies #TwasTheTextBeforeChristmas #BTS #behindthescenes #holidayseason

Shot beautifully by Dion Beebe and meticulously cut by Wyatt Smith. Such a pleasure grading with those 3 gentlemen! Opens worldwide May 26th. FYI- The 3D Dolby Vision is an absolute stunner! Some of the finest VFX work I’ve ever worked on!

Playing in 2D xenon, Dolby Laser Vision.

I had so much fun filming this last year. It such a cool and resonate piece. I felt in my bones Nadia’s complicated feelings around comparison and self worth, and true kinship with Grace’s desire for connection and her insecurities. I think I oscillate between these archetypal dynamics in my own life. Thank you thank you @defarmedia for trusting me to play Grace. and huge shoutout to @cfccreates !!!!! love u guys.
