My heart is filled with so much gratitude right now. Who would’ve thought that a simple conversation on the 18th fairway at Pines Crossing would turn into the first ever Auburn Ryder Cup.

These are the moments in life I never want to take for granted, the gift of community and the friends the Lord has placed in my life. May I never lose sight of how special it is to spend time with good friends, surrounded by God’s creation, playing the wonderful game of golf.

It was an honor to serve as the Navy captain, and although it didn’t go our way in the end, I had the time of my life.

Until next time. 💙

🚨 THE FIRST EVER AUBURN RYDER CUP POWER RANKINGS ARE HERE. 🚨

After hours of film study, stat analysis, completely unbiased opinions, and absolutely zero overreactions… the committee has spoken.

Some players are celebrating.
Some are already texting excuses.
Some are just happy they weren’t last.

Some people will need to use these rankings as bulletin board material, and some will use as an excuse and crumble under the pressure.

Let us know your thoughts down below.

* Now let’s give it up for Streed “Pretty Boy” Crooms.
* He comes in from Fairhope (the nice side).
* He is currently pursuing a degree in communications (which is the hardest degree to get), with a minor in how to stay single the rest of his life.
* His handicap is an 18.
* His personal best is an 85.
* Streed’s greatest asset is that he likes to create havoc with his trash talk, getting into players’ heads.
* His weakness is, in the same sense, that his game is not good enough for the trash he talks.
* The scouting report for Streed is simple. If he’s hot, he’ll be a valuable player to whatever team drafts him with his former baseball background. If he’s cold, look for him to be duck-hooking balls into the streets. Show some love to Streed down below.

Hidden blessings in year one

Learning to hold onto my identity in Christ and truly accept the fact that He has made me new has been hard. Trusting that a perfect God who fully knows my sin and sees my imperfections yet fully loves me and calls me into a new life is difficult for my mind and heart to wrestle with. Through all my doubt, he has proven Himself faithful to me.

Thank you Lord.

“He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”
