We would like to give a big thank you to our Headline Sponsor Mutant and our special guest for the weekend, Mitch Hooper.

Mutant went over and above to make this a special weekend for all the athletes with their fantastic athlete welcome bags, great class winner prizes and making big discounts available to all of the athletes. They were also present all weekend on their stand to ensure everyone got lots of goodies and we really appreciate their support and the investment they have made in the Strongman community. We know having Mitch present all weekend definitely helped with some PRs :)

You may have seen the crew from @strength_stage lurking, liking and sharing our posts. Well there is a reason for that!

My good friend @fullstackedengineer and his amazing partner @missalyssaxoxo have been developing and refining the product @strength_stage among with the team!
You would have seen it recently used at the @static_monsters world championships.

To get to the meaty part of it, we’re really excited (plus the pressure is off my excel sheet math) to announce that we are officially the first international comp to test the platform!

Josh’s has asked us to try and break it, however with @_chrisross_ and @turtlexanth at the helm I’m sure it will be in safe hands!

It’s been a pleasure to be a sounding board and to be able to support the growth of @strength_stage across the world!

💪🏽2026 Static Monsters World Championships🙌🏽🏜️

Mom made an 11hr 31min Funeral playlist. It has everything from Ohio State Buckeye marching band songs, to sappy love songs, to pop/rock from the 60s-00s. I hit a random play as I’m about to head out the door to compete in the 2026 Static Monsters World Championships. “Eye of the Tiger” is the song that pops up out of 11.5hrs of songs. I burst into tears and run to my son and say, “Grandma’s here with us”. It’s my best friend Marie’s birthday, my mom’s birthday is on Sunday. They were both very present cheering me on!

It is difficult to describe the mix of emotions that came over me on the ride to the gym that morning. It was predominantly grief and an overwhelming excitement. I was thrilled to have my 13yo son at my side, he was a trooper through the whole event.

I had 3mos to prepare with stresses stacking leading to the event. My Bodyweight was down 12+kg from the qualifier. I didn’t know I was qualified until May, and confirmed in June. I hadn’t touched a log in 3mos until warmups the morning of the event. @junkratfitness and @liftlikelauren13 came in clutch for us Masters! TY🙏🏼

This is my first Strongman and I couldn’t be prouder of the wonderful people that participated in this event, turned up and showed the world what they’re made of. I cherish these moments with all of you, what a special experience.

I started to question whether I opened my log press too high and my deadlift too low. It was too late to change it. Anything I hit would be a PR.

After I hit my Log Press opener at 65kg, I was over the moon. I missed my 2nd/3rd attempts. The 18”Axel Deadlift I opened at 150kg and ended up only making small jumps. More meat on the bone. Will be getting ready for the 2027 qualifier now! Also, thank you @mitchellhooper for my new nickname, “The Tiger”🐅

I cannot thank @staticmonsters, @atpgym_ , @camillapeacock , @simon.dieselyates, @missalyssaxoxo @strength_stage ,@mitchellhooper, @adambishopstrongman enough! You made us all feel right at home. I got the strongman bug.

Wow! What an incredible experience to compete in this type of competition. I had a great prep going in, and I was able to display that in my performance. Sure, I had a couple of hiccups on the Log, but that's nothing new. For the deadlift, I performed exactly how I expected. What made this show even more incredible was being judged by @adambishopstrongman and shaking hands with @mitchellhooper, which was really cool. Thanks, @static_monsters and @atpgym_, for putting on an amazing show. This was hands down the best ran competition I have ever done.
