Pilates is more than an aesthetic ✨

• It has given me mobility
• It has helped control my flexibility
• It has introduced me to a community

+ @stretchwny demonstrates that better than any studio IMO 🫶🏼

The more reformer classes I take, the more confident I get that Pilates is SO MUCH MORE than cute sets and something girlies do before brunch….Even if that’s still my favorite Kinda-Sunday 😉💅

IDK, Just as the internet revisits the topic of what girls are wearing vs. what their bodies are doing when they complete a workout… just please remember how pilates started and all of the benefits it can bring… Even if they’re wearing a matching set or shorts that scrunch 💋🥰

Q3 came and went in a literal blink and it was, without a doubt, one of the best 3 month spans of my life. 🥹💛✨

Lifting your hips off the carriage can strain your body 👎

Instead, keep your hips grounded to protect your back and activate your core 👍

You can keep your hands on your hips to help keep that in mind next time you’re in class!
