This darling Jacinto Baby dress knit pattern is coming soon from @agasalhosebugalhos - the structure of the bodice was so easy to make and the icord binding made such a neat finish. It was so satisfying to see it come together! The skirt is a simple lace, a fun one to knit and easy to take along and pick up anytime I had a moment to knit! A great summer project for being outside and on the run with the kids. I opted to add a picot edging to the hem and made my icord into a bow for my closure. Sandra included excellent instructions for a button closure, I was just enjoying my pretty yarn too much to put it away! This yarn was grown and spun here in Virginia, I got it at a local fiber festival that I went to with my family on the tenth anniversary of when my husband and I started dating- *finally*. 💜🤣 🍩🌿
Thank you for another opportunity to enjoy your patterns, Sandra. I always get excited when I see the tester acceptance email come through, I know another wonderful knitting experience has begun. When my babies outgrow your patterns, I’ll continue knitting them as gifts for others to enjoy and treasure. It will bring me back to these precious days I’m living in now.
My first completed baby clothing with the new hangers from my dear friends to photograph with 🥹❤️ thank you thank you!

Using @stricklywoodllc beautiful dough scraper to cut small rounds for tortillas- a staple in our household! It was such a sweet experience to use a tool made by a good friend. It made an ordinary moment of everyday life feel extra special and beautiful. 🤍 Thank you, Leisel, for always being so kind, thoughtful, and understanding… even when my texts back are slower than snail mail 😂 I am blessed to have your friendship in my life and your handcrafts in my home!

Happy August y'all, from this happy lil corner of local goodies. Just wanted to update you as we head into late summer. 😎
We are requesting that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask😷 while walking around and ordering inside. We are following the CDC guidelines on this as it appears the Delta variant is increasing cases and hospitalizations in Richmond, Chesterfield and Henrico counties.
🦠
Some of us at Perk have children not eligible for vaccines yet and we don't want to bring anything home to them. Call us extra cautious (wouldn't be the first time for this mama) but we appreciate you all doing your part in protecting all of us. 💛 #wewillgetthroughthistogether
