When your photographer is so good, she makes you look fabulous… if only she could follow me around in the day to day as well…
PS: she can be your photographer too at comps- just ask if she’s heading to your next event! You won’t regret it!!!

This pink dress is also available to purchase! DM me for more info!!

I may not have won either of my events at QNDC, but the feedback from certain people indicates improvement upon each competition, and consistent improvement at that… (although 2nd place 🥈 in adult was a bit of a surprise tbh!)
For someone that didn’t take up dancing until they were 34/35 years of age, I’ll be able accept improvement for now, with the aim to follow the same trajectory where possible… and see where it might take me.

Having lost 10kg since the start of the year, and having a really big focus on dialling in my diet, and activities outside of working full time and additional (multiple!!) nursing shifts, improving should be celebrated equally as much as anyone who is ‘winning’.

A huge thank you to my fellow competitors- you may not realise how much you inspire me, and how much you encourage me to continue on developing my dancing and how much I truly enjoy your company both on and off the floor.
You become more than just passing competitors. You become friends and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know you all more and more as I continue on my journey with Dancesport.

@ni.ma.photography seems to capture the better side of me… thankfully!
Looking forward to seeing her capture more wonderful images of everyone at Queensland Dance Sport Championships! She has photography packages, I believe, available for Queensland Open! Don’t miss out on having some lovely memories to share in the future!!! You won’t regret it! And she only gets the good pics 😉

C’est Fini!!

Another year over, well only on paper and scorecards….
One end is really just a platform for a new beginning… or a continuation. Think of it as a comma. A little pause before starting again…!

Here’s to having a break, for everyone, except for those who want to push harder into 2026 😉

There are many people to show gratitude towards; but I’ll just quietly know that those who have helped me and supported me along the way, will know how grateful I am for all that they do to help me be better.

1% each and every day through consistency and trusting the process; which for me isn’t always easy… but I’m overcoming and adapting through the whole system.

See you all in 2026… 💃🏼

Thanks to those tagged, as you’ve all had a part to play in my year, be it through training and education, physical fitness, physical maintenance, repair tags when needed, hair, make up, styling, photography, moral support and guidance beyond words.
You’re all a huge part of what I can try to achieve- and to think- this isn’t my full time job, nor even my extra work; it’s a hobby that has become a ‘bit more’ and that’s exciting!
