Recap of the Midstate Massive Ultra ✅💪50 miles, over 5,000 feet of elevation gain, this race was brutal with all the incline trails and roads, and running through the woods all night in the dark. I got lost about four times because some of the course markers were hard to see up in the trees 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ My Watch also stopped recording because there was no signal out there. Big shout out to my girl for helping me during the race. Meanwhile, a lot of people had full crews and pacers. That was a big mistake not bringing more people with me 🤣 I could have easily finished this race in 10 hours if I had a crew and if I didn’t go lost. After 11 hours and 26 minutes, I crossed that finish line. Not a perfect race, but another challenge done. Just another reminder that I’m capable of more than I think. 🙏💪

Next challenge for next year is doing a flat and easy 100 miler under 24 hours🤣🤣

Ufff, what a season this has been. 🥹🏃🏻‍♀️

Four marathons in a year. Three World Majors. Four races where I showed up carrying injuries, uncertainty, and a body that didn’t always let me train the way I wanted to. And somehow, I still made it to every finish line.

Chicago reminded me that sometimes, no matter how strong your mind is, you have to listen to what your body is telling you.

This season was about resilience, adapting, trusting the process, and learning that sometimes showing up and crossing that finish line is an achievement in itself. I’m walking away incredibly grateful for every experience, every lesson, and the privilege of being able to run these races, especially three of the World Marathon Majors. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, checked in on me, and sent me so many messages along the way. I love you all so much. You have no idea how much your support means to me and how much you keep me going.

A special thank you to @strideforstride_ and @bostontweet for being there for me through every single race, and of course, to my teammates. 🤝❤️

This season humbled me, challenged me, and taught me a lot. Now it’s time to recover, get stronger, and come back smarter.

Here’s to many more finish lines next year. 🥂🏅

Three weeks until @swamp_senorita runs the NYC marathon so we’re having another empanada sale! 100% of proceeds will go to @strideforstride_ - a nonprofit that purchases race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC and low-income runners. Pickups this Sunday (orders close Friday 8am). 🥟🏃🏽‍♀️🗽🎽
