I had the privilege of capturing Team Catapult’s annual Welcome to Running camp, where adaptive athletes, guides, and coaches come together to learn, build trust, and share the joy of running.

From developing running form to helping guides better support athletes with visual impairments, this weekend creates space for people to start, return, and grow in the sport—with a community beside them.

Thank you @team_catapult for breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for more people to experience everything running can offer. And to the athletes, guides, coaches, and volunteers: thank you for letting me capture a small part of your story.

Our inaugural Adaptive Sports Day with the Atlanta Falcons was so hype we can barely believe it was real.‼️

Y’all showed up ready to rock the field, and rock you did.🤘

From the trial fittings and first moments of the group warmup to the touchdown celebrations and the last huddle (we saw you laying that egg, Dylan), we couldn’t have asked for a better day with our community.

Some folks ran for the very first time, some caught passes and ran ladders after years of being away, and others cheered from the sidelines, but every single one of you made the day that much more special.

Expect more content from the day to hit your feeds, but in the meantime please enjoy. 🎥 🏈

While I was editing this film and trying to find the aura and vibe for it, I would go on runs and listen to this one song in the reel over and over again. It became my compass for how to explore the relationship between the pursuit of running, the unforgiving landscapes of the outdoors, and the pain that is experienced in long distance endurance sports

Our Sage is at it again! On Thursday she was able to meet with @abbypalmercox to discuss @sebcmutah and their mission to get insurances to cover prosthetics. From the moment we learned about her nub, we knew she would be a force in this world.
And how lucky is she to have met such amazing people! @6packbrew @noahjamesbury @strideswithjeff @sydney.j.p @e.r.i.n.v.e.o.r.a @karissaglover and everyone else, thank you for reminding her just how capable she is!

Had the opportunity to connect with First Lady of Utah @abbypalmercox and @sebcmutah at the Governor’s Mansion to discuss prosthetic access legislation. The goal is to make sport specific adaptive equipment mandatory for insurance providers. I am so proud to be involved with a case like this as I understand the true financial burden that is being an amputee. People deserve to get outside and experience life on equal terms! #getoutandmove

Proud of this advocacy team that keeps showing up !

We’re feeling energized and thankful to @abbypalmercox for showing up for So Every BODY Can Move Utah today. We were invited to have a visit at the Governor’s Residence to share about our advocacy mission and hear her thoughts and insight as a public leader in government. We felt heard and supported and grew together 🪴. The First Lady of Utah shares passion for several things that align with our values: education, community, mental health and inclusion. Her work with @showuputah is tremendous. We appreciate the opportunity to build relationships with her and other leaders in Utah as we look to move our initiative forward.

Our team members with lived experience shared personal stories of need for orthotic and prosthetic devices. We talked about how our focus for inclusion and access could potentially build a legacy in Utah - as we prepare our state and community for Utah2034 Olympics and Paralympics. And we witnessed her love of children and a special connection to the youngest on our team. ❤️

We are so proud to represent the disability community in Utah and bring this discussion to important leaders that care and show respect and understanding. We are fueled to think about the day we may return in the future to have our bill signed by @govcox 😉 📝
