A PROPER FAMILY AFFAIR. 💗 Five years deep and nights like Friday remind us just how far we’ve come. A sold-out Hidden, packed wall to wall and bouncing from the first track to the last. Five years of building something special, and Friday was a reminder of exactly what it’s all about. We couldn’t be prouder of the community we’ve created and everyone who’s been part of it. Manchester, you really showed up for this one. The energy in that room was something else. Here’s how it all went down 🫡

@maxdean had the afters buzzing with this groovy cut by @strike__e called ‘The Loca Lady’ 💃 Max worked Strike-E’s Latin-flavoured roller into the afters, a vintage-leaning house groove given a modern punch, with a sultry vocal riding over flute-like synths. It’s been out since 31 July. ‘The Loca Lady’ opens Summer Sampler, an eight-track VA from Manchester label @obpmusic that put the label’s in-house crew alongside guests including Strike-E. Max knows the afters well, often going five or six hours deep in back-to-backs with his cousin Luke Dean.

Five years deep. A reflection on what the last few years looked like and how it’s shaped where we are today. Big love to everyone who’s been here from the start and those who joined along the way. Which one was your favourite? See you on the 16th.
