Been a busy summer living life and playing with @steamerlax

My oldest son @gideonturner5 heads off to college tomorrow where he will be playing for @udcmenslax Proud is an understatement.

Of course, I have to send him off with something special. On top of restringing his gamer from last season which is a @stxmlax Stallion with which he set multiple school records and state records, I also set up a @thronelacrosse Omen with the same pocket and outside/in channel that he loves. That along with the beautiful dye featuring the UDC Firebird 🐦‍🔥

He’s going to be turning heads when he is sniping corners 🎯 and dropping dimes 🪙 with this on the field. I’m glad that I can send him off to accomplish great things with a little something special.

Did up this Evo V with Hero 4 semi-soft in a shifty box pocket Vincent. He’s a crease monkey on the field, so he wanted a quick release he used in box this past winter.

FINALLY a kid at Karrer didn’t go with a a black head. Did up this green ECD Ion with black Hero 4 mesh with a mid-low pocket. Added slightly more whip than what Caleb is used to on the right side of attack, but it’s paid off with a few assists and a goal just two games into the season.

Fresh mid-season tie-up for @paxton.lane06 🔥

Paxton is a defender/LSM for @walkervalleyhighschool and @tnlxlacrosse.

Absolutely love the setup he went with — a @gaitlaxofficial D2C paired with @stringking Heather 5S. This is a perfect combo for causing chaos on the field and vacuuming up GBs.

Got the pattern inspiration from a tie-up I saw @iconiclax do a while back on one of these. It’s absolute butter on passes and picks up everything.

First game of the season down and this is the stick that got our first goal. Ben is my lefty attackman who put us in the lead with a quick shot from his all black ECD Ion with Hero 4 strings.

He probably could have had a hat trick but we’re happy with the 6-2 win

Welcome to the crew @wilsonmullis1

Wilson is an attackman/midfielder for @mccallieschoollax who was in need of a refresh. I got his @ecdlax Mirage 2.0 dialed in with @stringking 5S mesh. It still feels a little wrong, but performs way too good to stop.

Finished with a shifty mid-low pocket that’s perfect for the one-handed cradle, precision passes, and stepping down for outside shots.

Put a fresh slice of Throne’s FPX in this Stallion U for a 7th grader on my team. Had to take out the factory strung pocket and put in new mesh for Jackson’s first year of lacrosse and at midfield.

🌈🥍 New weapon for the next chapter.

Just finished this @relaxcollections N2O up in a clean pink for a junior at @cooper_hs_lax making the move to LSM.

Strung it with a beautiful 6-diamond rainbow mesh from @themeshdynasty — unreal hold, smooth release, and built to eat up ground balls and push transition.

LSM season loading… 🔒🔥

🧪🥍 Mad science activated.

With everyone widening heads, I had a crazy thought:
What happens if you widen a faceoff head?

Introducing the Wi-Fo — a widened @stringking 2F Stiff, set up with an outside weave and @themeshdynasty Divine9 Hex.

This thing is an absolute ground-ball vacuum. Dominant on the stripe with the same pinch, pop, and control you expect from a true FO head, but without the fear of getting too pinched to play.

Still fine-tuning the channel to dial in shot consistency, but overall? I’m very satisfied with how this experiment turned out. 🧠🔥

Sometimes you’ve gotta test the limits.

🇺🇸🇺🇸 @rshoelax14

Still getting used to stringing these, but I’m really happy with how this one turned out. Ryan is a stud goalie for @sdms.clublacrosse and @chattlaxclub, and also plays a little box for @tnlxlacrosse. I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know Ryan, so when the time came for him to dial in a new setup, I was more than happy to help.

He went with an @stxmlax Eclipse 2 and @themeshdynasty 10D USA mesh. First time stringing 10D goalie mesh, so it definitely took some adjusting, but I’m super pleased with the result—minimal rebounds and crisp outlet passes.

🟠⚪️ @riggsj19

Another returning player. Riggs is a senior for @vol_lacrosse, currently ranked #3 in preseason polls. He came to me with this orange @ecdlax Ion and some @ecdnation Hero 4.0 and asked me to replicate a pattern like the one I put in his Mirage 3. Super smooth mid / mid-low with a little snap. Can’t wait to see him tear it up this spring.

🧊🧊 @paxton.lane06

With spring right around the corner, @walkervalleyathletics defenseman Paxton Lane needed a fresh setup.

He went with the @stxmlax Surgeon 1K — perfect for scooping GBs off the turf and pushing transition. Finished it off with @ecdlax Hero 4.0 mesh and Hero Strings for a smooth, consistent release.
