What an unforgettable Sunday in San Jose! 🖌️✨ On February 15th, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, I had the incredible opportunity to join @stritastudio for a multi-stage celebration of Lunar New Year fashion, dance, and music. This event was a huge milestone for me: it was my first time performing such large-scale Chinese calligraphy art on the floor in public! 🐎 There is a completely different energy when you use your whole body to guide the brush across a massive canvas on the ground. Seeing the 丙午馬年 (Year of the Fire Horse) come to life on such a grand scale in the heart of the mall was a moment I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stage to witness the “modern flare” of this ancient art! #stritastudio #liveperformances #largescaleart #lunarnewyear2026🐴🧧🪭 #lunarnewyear

A gothic wind is blowing… Dark, sensual, and unsettling. Romantic horror keeps returning in recent music videos and films, with religious undertones and haunted femininity. Nature feels raw, uncanny, alive with shadows. Bodies shift and transform into hybrid forms. Clowns return, decayed and disturbing, followed by strange, handcrafted masks and puppets, revealing the darkness within us all. The shadows await. Another day, another delivery! 📦   We are working with the amazing organization, I Support The Girls (@isupportthegirls), and we are receiving all kinds of items to donate here in LA. Our immediate concern is for women and girls affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires and have been working with some wonderful organizations to get the donations directly into people’s hands. But it doesn’t stop there. Anything we can do to help out women and girls is the goal!     We just got a shipment of THOUSANDS of items (sleepwear, camis, briefs) and we will start delivering them this week.  If you know of anyone organizing relief efforts or in need of new underwear, bras, swimsuits, get in touch, they aren’t doing any good sitting in the garage! #isupportthegirls #isupportthegirlsla #eatonfire #palisadesfire #lafirerelief

Identity, Bespoke Typographic System, and Web Design + Dev for our much-accomplished friends at Strita Studio who’s worked with Frank Ocean, Sabrina Carpenter, to Spotify and Denim Tears. They’re a boutique, AAPI female founded global creative studio/house, representing best in class producers and designers who blend bold creativity and cross cultural collaboration to create unique community driven experiences and brand development. The typographics are inspired by “synergy”, aka the studio’s knack for bringing together talents and connecting paths for convergent spaces. Type by @hbtype. Thank you Hyo Kwon and Berton Hasebe! Identity for Spotify CommunityX Clubs 🎵 In a 3.5 week sprint, we crafted the identity for Spotify-sponsored clubs globally. CommunityX Clubs are Spotify-communities that aim to celebrate and connect people’s passions worldwide. We devised a visual system based on three key categories of interests that can be flex up and down to be used by Spotify teams and community of all interests and creative experiences to show off their clubs and communal identity. From there, a toolkit of graphics, icons and emojis are formed for people to easily jump in or enable those club members who wish to express more. Thanks to Cathleen @stritastudio and Michelle at Spotify Services Identity, Presentation & Templates, Motion, Graphics Team Ran, Ming Hsun, Nina, Alaya ❤️

It was so much fun to bring Bezzi the Yeti’s magic to @spotify’s LA office this month, and it was even cooler that we connected with @stritastudio through a Craigslist ad, which is how we were able to be a part of their audio playground in the first place 🎶✨🌈 life works in mysterious ways and i’m here for it. thanks to @morgantaylor.jpg @thealanmurphy @naiyushi for being a part of this and bringing your love and care for families. it always shows, and i’m constantly inspired by your ideas 💜
