There is POWER in collaboration! 🤝🏾💚

The more we work together, the greater the impact we can make. That power was demonstrated today as we witnessed the incredible outcome of the Mental Health Clinic, a collaborative effort between Councilor Crystal Smitherman, @councilorcrystalsmitherman District 6, Nurture of Alabama, Inc., @nurturebham and the Black Women’s Mental Health Institute. @blackwomensmhi

Today was a beautiful reminder that when organizations, professionals, community partners, and residents come together around a shared purpose, lives can be impacted and communities can be strengthened.

A special thank you to:

✨ Carla Wade for being an amazing MC
✨ Reggie Parker, Licensed Therapist, for an impactful presentation on stress management
✨ Ashley Shivers, Licensed Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor, for leading our chair yoga experience and helping attendees reconnect with their mind and body
✨ Our outstanding panelists for sharing their knowledge, experiences, and wisdom
✨ Our incredible vendors and community partners
✨ The Birmingham CrossPlex staff for helping make the event possible
✨ And, most importantly, our amazing attendees who showed up for themselves and their community!

We truly could not have done this without each of you.

And a special thank you to @eugeneshotchicken for your wonderful service and delicious lunch! ❤️

This is what happens when we collaborate, connect, and care. The impact is greater when we do it together!

Nurture your growth and strive for a better you. 🌱💚

A gentle reminder for the days when you feel like you have to do more, give more, or prove more. 💛

Your worth was never something you had to earn. Take a breath. Slow down. And remember, you are already worthy.

What would change if you truly believed that? 🌿
