Maybe making someone’s day is as simple as showing up with a little wonder and a whole lot of love. 🐶🤍🐾

7 days with Hazel Mae. 🦊🧸

Oh my heart.
It’s hard to believe this little potatoe is real.

Foxy lady.
Teddy bear.
Shark teeth.
Feisty muffin.

She’s all that and more.

As hard as it is to lose a dog, somehow you find space in your heart to love again. 🐶

The climbs are never worth it - said none of us, ever.

The only way out is through - preferably on bikes with friends.

Missed you…you know who you are 🤍

🚴‍♀️Biggest take-away:
Know your limit, and ride within it. 🫀
lol

May have gone a bit fast off the line and hit the wall on the first climb - had to back right off to let my heart rate come down.

Once recovered I caught up to my friends, and thanks to them we finished. 🙏

I’m always learning to listen to my body, understanding its signals, and trusting its adaptive intelligence.

No more pushing through.
More surrendering.

It’s a fine balance knowing when to push harder, and when to slow down. Not allowing my age to be a barrier to my performance, or my competitive nature to override my physiology.

So many strong women of all ages on the ride today. I was inspired and humbled.

Thanks friends for an incredible day! Let’s do it again next year.

Because every long ride feels like a practice in self love and embodiment.

It reminds me that strength isn’t always about pushing harder. Sometimes it’s about staying present when it gets uncomfortable.
Regulating.
Listening.
Softening where I can.
Finding one more breath, one more pedal stroke.

Midlife keeps teaching me that resilience isn’t about force.
It’s about staying connected to yourself—especially when the road gets steep.

I’m grateful for this crew—for the pace, the laughs, the quiet encouragement, and the way we carried each other through - and my supportive spouse, pushing me up the last few hills and encouraging me in his gentle way. 🤍
