Since I started making videos, I have NEVER asked anyone for money. I'm only seeking support now because I lost my phone and need to get back to creating content.

I've supported VDM long before he identified as a Ratel or the Ratel Movement was formed. I was among his earliest supporters.

I don't even tag VDM in my posts because I'm not doing this for validation, recognition, or money.

If you think my loyalty to this movement is financially motivated, you're out of your mind. I've been here from the beginning, and my loyalty has never had a price tag!

I was still appreciating the ₦100K someone sent me when another person sent ₦30K. I will NEVER take this kindness for granted!

And some people are asking, “Is it because of ₦100K you're this excited?”

Are you okay? In this current Nigerian economy, someone sacrifices ₦100K or ₦30K to support me, and you expect me not to go crazy with appreciation?

Even ₦500 can move me! ₦1K, ₦2K, whatever the amount, I will ALWAYS appreciate genuine kindness.

Gratitude is not measured by the amount received but by the heart that gives. ❤️

I'm honestly short of words. 🥹❤️

On Monday, a woman I've never met, a fellow Ratel member, reached out to me on Instagram after learning about my struggle to get a new phone following the loss of my previous one.

Last night, she surprised me with ₦100,000 to support my efforts to get a new phone so I can resume making advocacy videos for the movement while also pursuing my music career.

I'm beyond grateful! May God continue to bless her, open greater doors for her, and make everything she touches flourish. ❤️🙏

A Lady sent me 100k naira here on Instagram as a support for me to get a new Phone to continue making video posts

If you notice I've been making written posts lately because I lost my iPhone
I'm currently typing with my android which doesn't have a good Camera quality.

The controversy surrounding Jordan Wike, son of Nyesom Wike, and the reported $2.1 million land transaction is another reminder of why we must never stop demanding accountability!
Yet, when we question the sources of wealth of politicians and their children, some people immediately accuse us of jealousy, hatred and bitterness.
Since when did questioning the financial dealings of politically connected individuals become a crime?
These are the same people who will defend questionable wealth simply because someone comes from a rich or influential family.
Listen, being born into a wealthy family is not proof of financial integrity, and having a powerful father does not place anyone above accountability!
If you believe politicians should explain their financial dealings, then their children should equally be open to legitimate scrutiny when questions arise about their transactions.
Accountability is not hatred. Transparency is not jealousy. And political connections should never become a shield against scrutiny!
This is exactly why we keep speaking up. NIGERIA MUST WORK FOR EVERYBODY, NOT JUST THE POLITICALLY CONNECTED!

LOVE HIM OR LOVE HIM! GOOD DEEDS MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED!

Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, is one Nigerian whose courage, patriotism, and commitment to humanity deserve recognition.

This is a young man who has consistently used his platform to challenge injustice, question those in authority, expose alleged wrongdoing, and amplify the voices of ordinary Nigerians who might never have been heard.

VDM has demonstrated that influence should not be measured by expensive cars, luxurious lifestyles, or celebrity connections, but by the positive impact one makes in society.

Through his activism and humanitarian initiatives, he has championed education, supported vulnerable Nigerians, advocated for accountability, and encouraged citizens to demand transparency from those entrusted with public resources.

One thing I particularly admire about him is his commitment to publicly accounting for funds entrusted to him. His willingness to explain how donations are spent sets an example of the transparency we should demand from everyone handling public or donated resources.

Personally, VDM has influenced my understanding of patriotism and social responsibility. He has taught me that loving your country goes beyond waving its flag. It means standing against injustice, defending humanity, and contributing positively to society.

You cannot claim to love accountability, justice, transparency, and humanity while deliberately refusing to acknowledge these same values when someone you dislike demonstrates them.

VDM has shown that you don't need to occupy a political office to make a meaningful difference in your country.

And perhaps his greatest achievement isn't even the number of people he has helped directly, but the generation of Nigerians he continues to inspire to become courageous, patriotic, and socially responsible.

If you're attacking someone simply because they're questioning the sources of income of Governor Adeleke's sons, then you have no moral justification to attack the likes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu or Nyesom Wike over allegations of financial misconduct.

You cannot argue that the Adeleke family is wealthy and therefore incapable of engaging in illegal financial activities, while simultaneously questioning the wealth of other politicians.

Coming from a wealthy family does not automatically prove financial integrity, just as being a politician does not automatically make someone corrupt.

The same standard of accountability must apply to everyone, regardless of political affiliation, family background or personal sentiments.

If you believe Tinubu and Wike should be questioned about their wealth, then you must equally accept that the Adeleke family can be questioned. However, questioning someone's wealth is not the same as proving wrongdoing.

Accountability is not something you demand only from people you dislike while defending those you admire.

That's not patriotism. That's selective outrage, intellectual dishonesty and political hypocrisy!

Stop defending personalities and start defending principles. Nigeria will never move forward if accountability depends on whose side you're on!

Mr Jollof is the worst thing that has happened to Nigerians

The height of insensitivity and political foolishness! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Nigerians are complaining about the unbearable cost of living under the current APC administration. Coca-Cola, which we once bought for as little as ₦60, now sells for ₦500–₦600 in some places.

Instead of acknowledging the hardship Nigerians are facing, someone had the audacity to say, "If you cannot afford Coke, go and drink coconut water."

Are you even living in Nigeria? 😂

The same coconut that reportedly sells for ₦1,500–₦3,000 in some places? So someone who cannot afford a ₦500 drink should buy a coconut worth ₦1,500? Does that even make economic sense?

This is what happens when political loyalty completely overrides common sense and empathy.

You can support a government without defending everything it does or mocking citizens who are struggling to survive.

The problem isn't that Nigerians cannot afford Coca-Cola. The problem is that the purchasing power of ordinary Nigerians has deteriorated so badly that things once considered affordable are becoming luxuries.

When citizens complain about hardship, the responsible response is to demand better governance, not to recommend more expensive alternatives.

Political loyalty should never cost you your humanity!

THEY ASKED FOR AN END TO POLICE BRUTALITY, NOT AN END TO THEIR LIVES! 💔🇳🇬

October 2020 will forever remain a painful chapter in Nigeria's history.

Young Nigerians took to the streets, demanding justice, accountability and an end to police brutality. They carried Nigerian flags, raised their voices and fought for a better country.

But instead of protecting them, the very security forces sworn to defend them turned their weapons against them.

At the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, peaceful protesters were shot. Lives were reportedly lost, dreams were shattered, and families were left with wounds that may never heal.

Their only crime was demanding a country where they could live without fear.

Six years later, the questions remain: Where is the justice? Who has been held accountable?

Show me one Nigerian politician who can confidently do what VeryDarkMan has just done. JUST ONE!
Burna Boy entrusted VDM with ₦250 million to build a school in Odiokwu Community, Rivers State. After executing the project, VDM didn't just come out to announce that the money had been spent. He sat down with the engineer who handled the project and publicly presented a breakdown of how the funds were utilized.
EVERY EXPENDITURE ACCOUNTED FOR! EVERY DETAIL OPEN TO PUBLIC SCRUTINY!
He didn't do this only for Burna Boy. He did it for Nigerians, including those who have been desperately looking for reasons to question his integrity.
Now, let me ask you something. How many Nigerian politicians have the courage to subject themselves to this level of public accountability? How many can confidently sit before Nigerians, open their financial records and explain how every naira entrusted to them was spent?
THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY FROM VDM WILL DEFEND POLITICIANS WHO CANNOT ACCOUNT FOR PUBLIC FUNDS! THE HYPOCRISY IS LOUD!
