Last Days of Summer pt 1

THANK YOU to everyone who attended our drop 2 launch party.

surface value was never supposed to be just clothing. it was built around the way we look at people, the assumptions we make, and everything we decide about someone before they ever get the chance to define themselves.

for drop 2, we turned that lens toward women. different decade, different packaging, same obsession with making women easier to control.

surface value exists to push back on those narratives and make a little more room for people to be loud, strange, excessive, complicated, or whatever the fuck feels like them.

and lastly - THANK YOU @gigischinacabinetcbus for bringing this party to life. 🩷

Does pride ever REALLY end?

I’m about to hit 2 years out of the military, so here is my once a year life update of shit I been doing lately:

1. I bought a fucking house (sick)
2. My sisters moved in with me!!!
3. I got to see one of my favorite friends I hadn’t seen in years
4. I’ve made an amazing group of friends here
5. I’m so incredibly fulfilled with the work I get to do at my job
6. I got an entire arm sleeve

All in all, I’m so incredibly grateful for what I have and I am so excited for what’s next. Last year I didn’t travel a whole lot and this year it’s all I want to do. I can’t express how much joy it brings me that I get to live by my sisters again, and how proud I am of them that they moved out to Columbus. I also cannot thank my friends enough for keeping me grounded and sane every day. I love each and every person that has added so much value to my life in this last year ❤️
