Ending my Gap year officially @limcollege here I come ! It’s definitely worth waiting to figure yourself out. Figuring out where your passions lay for a career. Would I advise a gap year ? Yes i actually think no high schooler should jump straight into college as it weighs heavy on one’s mental. But I love my immediate college students, I was one too lol😭. I’ve spent years learning that not everyone who applauds you is rooting for you.

I’ve watched doors close without explanation.
I’ve felt the sting of being underestimated.
I’ve learned what it means to outgrow rooms I once begged to be welcomed into.

For a while I thought I needed validation.
The hype.
The invitation.
The co-sign.

I don’t anymore.

Because what God placed in me doesn’t require permission from gatekeepers.

The people who overlooked me taught me self-reliance.
The people who betrayed me taught me discernment.
The people who left taught me how to walk alone.

And somewhere in all that silence I found my own light.

I am the sun.
I am the soul.

Blessed in spirit.

@cxm.studio brought my vision to life. I put my trust in them and they did it. I was told “you only need 1 person to believe in you. “ And to “believe in yourself.” I’d like to have a team to help make this all happen ,But at the end of the day it’s my vision,my goal,my life’s journey.
