Storm here just wanted to say a few things about Set Me Free. This song brought a lot of old feelings to the surface. I was trapped in a very toxic relationship as a young adult and it scared the living hell out of me. It brought parts of me out that made me feel like I was doomed to become like my father. It honestly paralyzed me into standing still and I felt like the only thing I could do was lie to myself and stay. But writing this also made me very grateful for the life I currently have. Sometimes as artists we reflect on things we never found closure with. It’s not always the intent but it always seems to serve its purpose. This song definitely helped me and I hope it can help a few others as well. Love you all thanks for listening to it 🫶
