POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I asked a dozen people for honesty.
Some spoke. Others wrote it down.
Both gave me what I needed for my TEDx rehearsal.

Try offering a written option when you need real feedback.
Who would you trust to watch your biggest moment?

We are hosting two Charity Boxing Classes on January 31st at 6:30pm and February 3rd at 11:30 am too help out one of our members who lost her husband. On December 7th last year, her husband past away from a very rare brain disease called Multiple System Atrophy. She is the mother of two young children and she's been going through a very difficult time over the past two years.

She came to boxing to take her mind off her pain for a short while. Her strength and courage during that sad time did not go unnoticed by the Ajax Boxing Club! THEREFORE, we are going to do our best to help her!

We would like to invite our current and past members, as well as their friends and families, to the Fight for Darmika!

We are suggesting a minimum $10 donation to attend the class. This will be a charity class, so tell your friends and family not to worry this will be a lighter workout (not what we usually do)!

If you are unable to attend the workout and still want to donate, please send e-transfers to ajaxboxingclubcoach@gmail.com and put "The Fight for Darmika" in the notes.

I hope to see you there

Coach Colin

Be your own experiment. You know yourself better than anyone, and what works for you might not be the exact same as your best friend or gym buddy.

Learn. Adapt. Grow.

If you’re doing the same thing over and over again and feeling like you’re constantly failing or ending up back at square one, it might mean your perfectionist mentality is holding you back from making the progress you deserve.

A boxer that gets punched isn’t going to do that again (hopefully).

I’ve loved the mindset shift of “feedback not failure” in my own journey. It allows me to make adjustments and pivot when needed, and I no longer feel like I’m constantly bouncing between perfect or not. I’ve enjoyed helping my clients make these mindset changes on their journeys, too.

Thanks Coach @stuart.freeman.568 for always being so helpful in class. I naturally loved the connection made between boxing and life / health. My coach brain never turns off 🙃

We're not allowed to train together this year so here's a Happy Canada Day throwback to July 1, 2018. Crazy hot day in the gym and we had some of the Ajax Boxing Club crew over to celebrate by punching each other in the face 🇨🇦😎🥊
