Student Life Fall LAUNCH NIGHT | August 19th @ 7PM
We’d love to invite all 6th - 12th graders to join us!
This will be the first Student Life gathering of the new school year! We’ll have pizza, games, worship + teaching, and time for them to connect with other students and make friends!

We have an incredible team of leaders that serve each week; they help lead small group discussions, pray over students, bring the energy + the fun, and ultimately show love to every students that joins us!

We are so incredibly excited and expectant for the new school year; both for all of the fun and community that’ll happen, and for what God will do in and through every student!
We’re prayerful and hopeful that students will join us and find community at Student Life during this special season of life through middle and high school!

There are some moments in life where I just step back and look at my reality with so much gratitude. I literally can’t stop talking about it. Praising the Lord for all this good.

Leslie has been an absolute rock in my life. Sometimes I joke that she’s either my third parent or my big sister. She was my babysitter when I was little, then my youth pastor. I stepped into ministry as an intern under her, and over the years she’s mentored me, challenged me, encouraged me, prayed for me, seen me in every season, and been the most trustworthy friend and leader. Now she’s my coworker, a partner in ministry, and one of my very best friends. Her impact on my life and my heart for ministry is hard to put into words. But to sum it up — I’m filled with gratitude.

She’s served as our student pastor for the past 8 years and she’s led so well. She’s loved our students so well. She’s loved Jesus so well. She’s led with so much strength, wisdom, joy, kindness, fun, and passion. She’s built an incredible culture of passionate young people within our church that live in community and love Jesus so well.
I’m so excited for her and the way God is calling her up into new ministry that will serve our church so well. Her heart is to serve the church and serve the Lord. She is always faithful to do so.

Kaleb and I have both had the privilege of serving under her leadership, and we are who we are because of so many people who have faithfully poured into us — Leslie being one of the biggest. We are so excited to be stepping into our new roles at Student Life together! We love and care for this ministry SO MUCH! Our call to ministry is our greatest passion and it’s what we hope to spend the rest of our lives doing. And what a gift it is to do it together.
We love Jesus so much. We love our church so much. We love getting to do this so much!

So, in case you didn’t know, I’m burying a life update in this long post! Kaleb and I are living in the biggest answered prayer right now. We’re both stepping into full-time ministry roles at OKC Community Church. Kaleb is our Music Director and Co-Student Life Director. I am our Content Director and Co-Student Life Director.

Student Life Summer Camp
June 8-12
Registration is open for junior high and high school students at the link in our bio🔗

Students will be staying at Salyer Lake Conference and Retreat Center in Minco, Oklahoma. The week will be filled with fun activities from outdoor games, kayaking, swimming and more. Campers will also spend time in prayer, worship and Biblical teaching and will grow in deeper community with other students through small group time.

We believe this week will be a powerful week for our students to deepen their sense of community, to enjoy a fun getaway, to strengthen their leadership skills, but most importantly to grow spiritually and to encounter Jesus at a personal level.

Embrace Worship Nights | We are so excited to announce our student-led worship event called Embrace!

Embrace is a night created by students, for students, to come together and encounter God through worship, prayer, and community. It’s a space to slow down, worship freely, and be reminded of the Lords presence.

We started Embrace because students need a place to come as they are. No pressure, no expectations, just room to worship and be authentic as we grow in our faith together.

More details coming soon! 💙💚🫂
