“Joy permeates through us.” ~ Dr. Anya Love

Dr. Anya invites us to imagine Black life beyond reaction. A life rooted in humanity, possibility, fullness, and intention. This is a call to honor joy, to archive it, and to tell the stories of our time with the seriousness they deserve.

🗣️ Philly, it’s about that time... this is for us.

In Concert Artist Series is a docuseries that was created with one mission… to highlight and uplift creative Black voices. After months of production the debut is finally here.

Join us for the official red carpet premiere of The In Concert Artist Series on Wednesday, October 22nd at The Ballroom at @fitlerclub. The night will include a special viewing and in-depth panel conversation with the creator, director, and the series’ amazing featured artists. It’ll be a time to celebrate, network with the Philadelphia’s creative community, and honor the power of storytelling.

Tickets are pay-what-you-wish. Nothing is expected, but everything is appreciated. Grab your spot at the link in bio, and watch the trailer while you’re there.

Tell a friend to tell a friend, and come ready for the cameras to be on you. It’ll be a beautiful night.

See you there. 🙏🏾

alumna: make it editorial

i’m excited to share that i recently signed with @selectmodelatlanta (my first global agency & 4th contract in a year!)

in honor of the end of an era, here’s a recap 📽️

my modeling career began and blossomed throughout my time at UGA. i began by practicing posing in the mirror and being super shy in front of the camera. as time went on i began to grow my passion for being able to create art through photography and fashion.

the growth and success i have had are not just a testament of my hard work but also collection of all of the people & organizations who helped me get here.

💐thank you to @jbbbyam @moninuolaoluwa_ @yaobansah @ocolleyy for introducing me to the world of modeling and allowing to me showcase your art.

💐a special shoutout to @ericadegue for taking those pics on campus, who knew that those photos would propel me to where i am now 🫶🏾

💐i also want to thank @modelmakersgroup @theugagency for helping me navigate castings, be apart of great shoots, and develop my skills.

💐last but not least, thank you @iamforfoi for always being down to shoot & execute my vision perfectly. i owe you in this life & the next 🫶🏾🫶🏾

as one chapter closes, a new one begins

& i think little paige would be proud 🥹

Here's the thing, conversations about race can feel risky at times but they are valuable. They are important. And they are necessary

What has your experience been like when talking about race- either your own race or someone else’s?

How do you like your reality? Warped or authentic?
As for me, I like a little touch of color to the everyday things.

Which image pulls you in?
1, 2, 3, or 4?

Production design, art direction and set decorating is a lot of work. It always helps when you have a crew that's willing to donate muscle, time and energy to help create the visual spaces we've envisioned for production.

Shout out the the entire crew for helping me put this set together 💪🏾aaand to take it apart 💫
