Kuantan Arts Festival Recap

I underestimated this city and was surprised to find such a vibrant and creative vibe in Kuantan.

The festival had everything from art installations, workshops, Warung Terang's projection mapping, @pasarsera and stamp hunting at heritage buildings in town.

Overall the festival exceeded my expectations especially since it's the first event. They curated good content, good food, set-up cantik (very neat) , worked with local businesses and cafes for engagement.

Can't wait for @kuarts.festival 2.0 next year! 😍

i joined a wonderful Stamping Picnic with @kuantanpickers and @qbigprinting at Jalan Besar Kuantan last weekend, on 13–14 June 2026,. The original purpose of the gathering was to contribute to the excitement of @kuarts.festival

Besides sharing our passion for stamping, i also had the opportunity to sell my “Kuantan” postcards, while QBig Printing accepted orders for personalized 3D-printed names and keychains. As always, Kuantan Pickers served a delightful selection of traditional Pahang delicacies throughout both Saturday and Sunday at their shop.

We brought along dozens of Kuantan-themed stamps over the two days. It was a fantastic experience to share stamping with visitors, meet many new friends, and enjoy meaningful conversations through this unique hobby. The atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and full of creativity.

One of the exciting activities during KuArts was the stamp collection challenge. The festival provided two brochures for visitors to collect, and participants could gather stamps from various participating locations, including @ms.elliot_ , @khatamkl , @studio.belatuk , Barn House by Macinda, @blok56.coffee , and @kuantan_klasik . Many visitors enthusiastically joined in, while also enjoying shopping opportunities at the @pasarsera booths.

Many people also asked about the Passport Pahang by @tourismpahang , hoping to get their hands on a copy. Unfortunately, the passport is currently out of stock. Sadly, i haven’t managed to get one either 😂.

It is inspiring to see more and more people collecting stamps from across Malaysia and around the world. Hopefully, this hobby will continue to grow in popularity and create positive connections between communities, travelers, collectors, and local businesses.

What began as a simple weekend activity turned into two memorable days filled with creativity, friendship, discovery, and a shared love for stamping. 😍 Thank you ALL OF YOU

As the curtains close on KuArts Festival 2026, our hearts are full.

What began as a simple dream to celebrate Kuantan’s people, spaces, culture and creativity became something far greater because of all of you.

To every artist, performer, musician, filmmaker, workshop facilitator, volunteer, venue partner, vendor, sponsor, media partner, collaborator, and attendee - thank you. Your passion, generosity and belief in this festival transformed Jalan Besar into a living canvas of stories, conversations and human connection.

Over three incredible days, strangers became friends, ideas found audiences, and our hometown came alive in ways we could only imagine. Every performance watched, every artwork admired, every workshop joined, every smile shared, and every step taken through our festival grounds became part of something truly special.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making KuArts Festival a success. This festival belongs to all of you.

Until we meet again, terima kasih banyok-banyok meraikan Kuantan bersama kami. Jumpa lagi!

P.S. The other pamphlet is my sister’s, so I stamped both of them. 😉
