Ep 1: My Favorite Client Experience

Something I’ve been terrified of doing, presenting my thought process.

I find short form video to be insanely bad as a medium to share photography as an art form so I’ve been struggling to find a way to integrate it into my platform.

I intend to keep creating short 1ish minute long videos as a way to communicate my art here and the creative process that goes behind each still. Thanks to those who have supported me and I hope there’s some people who find me through this.

Special thanks to @mybuja for allowing me to share our story, I wanted my first video to be about a story that resonates with me instead of trying to get technical or preachy.

What inspired Marina Morena’s prints?
•Our Lilikoi print is inspired by a fruit that connects Brazil and Hawai’i. Known as Maracujá in Brazil and Lilikoi in Hawai’i, this fruit is a huge part of the cuisine and culture in both places💛
Since this collection was designed in Hawai’i, I wanted to honor both places that inspire Marina Morena🌸•

•Our Heliconia print was inspired by elements that represents the flora and fauna of Brazil🩷
It features the Heliconia flower, native to Brazil, the famous Onça-Pintada, one of Brazil’s most iconic animals, and lush banana leaves that bring the whole tropical landscape to life🍃🐆🇧🇷•
