My winning Bridal “Boudoir” Entry for @battleofthebrushes.aus was my moment to push my craft to the next level. @alexx_wolfie was the perfect canvas, and I had the freedom to create, play and bring my vision to life while still staying completely authentic to me ❤️

This one feels special. A moment I’ll be forever proud of, and a masterpiece I’ll never forget creating. 🤎

“natural bridal makeup” is not a brief

(And fyi: she never asked for that) BUT…

I asked:
what do you see in that inspo photo you love?
what do you see in there that you don’t want?
what do you want people to notice about your makeup?
do you want this makeup to be real in person, or more photographic?

the better the brief, the better the delivery 🤝

Makeup artists, if you’re not asking the questions, you’re not going to get the answers.. don’t blame the inspo photo.
