POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

They say the first muse was not carved in stone or sung into myth—she was color. Red, the invisible force, the electric current rushing through our veins. She does not reign from the sky; she runs—through blood, through fire, across fields of blazing poppies. The unseen hand behind every speeding ticket and the wild urge to turn madness into art.

The spark of invention.

As part of the MARS boulder gym experience, we focused on space food packaging (snacks that can be purchased from the gift shop), emphasizing bold, utilitarian typography paired with reflective and holographic materials.

This design takes cues from the practicality of real space mission packaging, using advanced surfaces for durability, striking a balance between functionality and modernist retro futurism.

Happy Spy Day! 🕵️‍♂️👀 So proud of this work of cinematic storytelling from the amazing @creativechaosvmg crew.

Stream Mafia Spies on @paramountplus now. Rated 3.5 out of 4 stars from the @chicagosuntimes, and listed as 1 of 12 new shows to watch by @indiewire.

The docuseries is packed with intrigue, lies, secrets, assassination plots, mob schemes, shifty operatives, honeypot agents, Hollywood glamour, James Bond, and political power struggles.

Throw all of those ingredients together, crank up the heat, and you’ve got a boiling pot that could blow up💥 at any moment.

And it all happened for real. Declassified CIA documents is the gift that keeps on giving.

Happy viewing! 🍿🥤🎥

New website for @creativechaosvmg. One of my favorite things about design work is getting to be a sponge, learning about different projects and getting a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how each story unfolds.

Known for award-winning social impact stories, their Film and TV projects came ready with beautiful stills and graphics. But my favorite aspect of the website project was adding candid snapshots of the production crews and actors. We designed new spaces in order to feature them and showcase both the joy and collective effort that went into every storytelling mission.

Get pumped for the series premiere of MAFIA SPIES. July 16 on @paramountplus.

“The series charts a Cold War game of cat and mouse from Vegas to Miami to Havana that pitted Washington’s strongest players against the 20th Century’s most notorious gangsters.” - IndieWire

Along with a handful of motion design friends, we had the pleasure of working under the direction of @tomdonahueofficial and the @creativechaosvmg team to help bring on-screen visuals and motion graphics to the series. Big ups to @lebon.siu @stephbailis @grandygc #JesseT for the assists.

Also, the declassified intel revealed through the series will have you gagged.

JULY 16 - cancel all your plans (mafia level threat)

Real question: does anyone print photos anymore? I love seeing photos printed out, even on a regular home printer in black and white.

When I really got serious about developing my photographic portraiture style, I started going to @staplescanada to make laser prints on a weekly basis. There’s just something about seeing the work on a tactile surface, even on the most standard paper stock. And I am happy to just let the medium interpret the work.

I would then post them up, primarily on one my apartment walls, then swapped, rearranged, and added new images as I went. Friends and collaborators nicknamed it “the wall of Roberutsu, which I found quite endearing. I started calling it that, too, in my mind.

Anyway, I suppose this is an appreciation post for the physical prints. Go ahead, print your photos! Live with them.
