All the FREE things to do Sept 12 at @coffeerightyow! This event is for everyone, so bring the whole family and see all the FREE things there are to do and try at Ottawa's premier coffee fest: ☕ Sample coffee and teas from over 25 roasters and tea houses from across Canada. And support them by buying some bags and some merch if you can! 🧋Free drinks at our two micro Espresso Bars thanks to our sponsors @laithenrietta x @t2_mtl x @eightouncecoffee. A rotating selection of beans from various roasters will be on display and we'll have vegan options as well for the flat whites. 🍿Watch the @aeropress Ottawa Regionals happening at the park stage at 11 am (should last 2-2.5 hours) so come by and take a break in the beautiful park (some limited seating and picnic blankets/pillows available thanks to our hosts @parkdalepublicmarket. You'll also be able to buy bags of the competition's coffee the competitors are using at the Merch/Info Booth and Artery booth. Sample the coffee at @semillacoffee booth. 💦 Refresh your palate at the free seltzer station thanks to our sponsors and pals at @cityseltzer. And keep an eye out when hanging in the park or stuck in line somewhere, wave down the City Seltzer beverage backpack that will be roaming the festival. There will also be an Artery cold brew lemonade backpack so flag them down if you need a quick slash. 🎲 Try out some boardgames in the park while enjoying the AeroPress comp thanks to our pals @studio.staja who will also be selling collectibles! You can come and not spend a dime and have a great time. And if you want to further support vendors and the festival, buy some beans and merch, buy some food from our amazing food vendors, and buy some raffle tickets (link in bio or at festival) to win prizes and best of all 100% of funds is donated to coffee producers that many of the vendors work with). And just show up and help us spread the word so we make this festival an annual classic and keep it free and awesome. Come bedazzle your drink cups. PRIDE NIGHT MARKET Hosted by @littlejoberrys and @homo_phono!! Saturday August 22nd 5pm-9pm at @parkdalepublicmarket 🩷✨ (Next day emergency storm date, we do not cancel for rain.) -Parkdale Market is a fully open, outdoor and paved space, there are curb cuts at road closures to enter and leave as needed during the festival. Swipe for map. -There is a fully accessible washroom at the venue indicated on the map. Email @littlejoberrys if you need washroom dimensions or information. -For this festival we will have accessible parking spots inside the venue right near the entrance (indicated on map). -Seating in the park includes a mix of picnic tables and pop up event tables. Some are accessible by paved paths. -Bus stops run along Wellington West Street and Parkdale Ave close to the venue and we are a short trip from Tunney’s Pasture- staff at Information Booth can help direct event goers to bus stops. -We will have live music and generators running all night so it will be loud, bring ear plugs if needed. INFORMATION BOOTH: Extra staff will be at this station during the event and made available as needed for collecting items, providing navigation, market information, assisting with getting items to vehicles/tables. We will have free masks as needed available at the info booth. Lineups and wait times- this is a busy event and you should expect line ups. If you need support to wait in line visit info booth and a volunteer can help. We will also have water bottles available at info booth/ please remember to stay hydrated.
