Dance is transformational. It can be life changing.

In this episode of The American Side, host Maheen Mustafa @maheenm.mtg sits down with dance instructor Alexi Weirich @urban.dance.fitness.with.lex to explore what dance can teach us about confidence, wellness, connection, belonging ands community in modern America.

From overcoming self-doubt and social anxiety to building meaningful relationships through movement, this conversation goes far beyond fitness.

Hello, November!

It’s my birthday month and I want to spread my appreciation for dance, friendship, wellness, and living fully with all of you. Unfortunately, I have a hamstring injury that I’m going to be nursing for some time. This wasn’t my plan for this month, but it’s not going to stop us from coming together in celebration of life and community. Our UDF pros are going to help me by doing all of the moves full out. I hope everyone is going to step up to bringing extra UDF energy for me through the rest of the year until I’m back to 100%.

I still will be bringing my UDF favorites and some new choreo the next few weeks. Usher and Tinashe are coming to town- hint hint.

Mondays and Fridays 9AM @atd_studios
Thursdays 12PM @thebeaconmm

Saturday pop ups TBD

No classes Thanksgiving Week (11/23-11/30)
