It’s Finish Friday and THREE are officially off the WIP list! 🙌🧵✨

🏈 MF Needlepoint Football Mini — headed for a bag tag. Next up, 🍧 Sno Ball Mini — also destined for a bag tag, and this one was a must the minute I saw it. I’m Texas born and raised, so they’ve always been snowcones to me. My husband grew up in the Houma/Chauvin area of Louisiana, where they are most definitely Sno Balls. Every canvas tells a story — both for the designer and the stitcher — and this one tells a little bit of ours. 💕

🐊 Café Du Monde by Needle NOLA — because an alligator eating beignets just makes me happy! And check out those lights ✨ — Radiance + French knots gave them just the right little glow.

Now I’m celebrating three finishes by taking the day off and LNS hopping around Houston with my mom! She recently started needlepoint, and I love that we get to learn together. A little blind leading the blind? Absolutely. 😂 But we’re having fun!

We kicked things off yesterday at Studio 3113 Needlepoint in The Woodlands, where Beth & Katty were so gracious with their time helping Mom kit several canvases. And I’m proud to report that I bought threads only. No canvases. 😂 I’m pacing myself — we have a whole day of LNS hopping ahead of us!

Three finishes + needlepoint shopping with Mom = a pretty fabulous Friday. 💕🧵

Saturday we went to the Grand Opening of @studio3113ndlpt!!! So excited for the new LNS in The Woodlands! Such a beautiful shop with a great selection of threads, canvases and accessories (even found new threads to try out). The attention to details was impeccable! I only snapped pictures of the back of the shop (which was breathtaking ⛳️) as I was busy shopping. The owners Beth and Katty were the sweetest. They were so well staffed as both of their families were there to help and support them. Great inventory, nice location, a lot of parking and SUPERB staff! The cookie and needleminder gifts were the icing on the cake - Thanks!!! 💕 Love when the owners are involved and present. 💯 A++ ‼️
