A couple of months ago I told a friend I didn’t understand why I was so tired. They looked me dead in the eye and said check your Instagram. They were right 😂

As well as making the work that goes on display, there is always so much more happening behind the scenes than whatever makes it online. Looking back though, there is a lot to be proud of. As with so many of us, there is a whole lot of life going on outside of this space.

This year I exhibited with Gallery Affinity at Art X Lagos, the Bishop Gallery, Hope 93 and HackelBury at AIPAD. I co-created a film that went on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum, mentored three brilliant artists as part of Women in Art Prize and I have now almost completed my research fellowship at Royal Museums Greenwich.

I gave talks with Tate, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery, Royal College of Art, JO Morgan, AIPAD New York, Bishop Gallery and Royal Museums Greenwich. I am heading into 2026 with three new shows ahead, with new, unseen work.

I know I’ve missed some moments and people here. This is just a snapshot, not the whole story. Going back through an entire camera reel for the year is intense, and I’ve done my best.

It’s the end of the year and I literally had my final studio visit of 2025 yesterday, undoubtedly one I’ll never forget. More about that another time.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my work and my life this year. It has meant more than you know.

Thrilled to have supported the creative direction and production for the photography and film shoot for @studio_ashay (Donna Lynch) for the launch of the new collection.
Based in Somerset, UK designer Donna Lynch’s new collection focuses on traditional pattern cutting and bespoke tailoring techniques, like any true fashion and textile atelier. The collection works against the notion of seasonal fast fashion, instead creating timeless, thoughtful clothes that work in all seasons. She combines material knowledge and a clear design aesthetic to create texturally rich, sculptural clothing with subtle details and beautiful hand-finishing.
Donna Lynch studied at the London College of Fashion, London, UK, Chelsea College of Arts, London, UK and The Royal College of Art, London, UK, before working with designers including Alberta Ferretti and Christian Lacroix in London, Paris and New York.
