This is your invitation to create your own sacred space. Whether it be to honor the person or pet you’re grieving, your inner child, your family, or the person you’re becoming. 💫

Altars of the Heart is a gathering hosted by @studio_ocotillo and @sundaymournings_ , born from a shared belief that making something with your hands can carry you through every season. You'll paint a hand-sculpted ceramic altar made by Edna, then ground into a restorative sound bath led by Natalie, before leaving with a piece that's entirely yours.

Offerings of the workshop include:

🤎 Your own hand-sculpted ceramic altar, made by Edna of Studio Ocotillo, to paint alongside community and keep as a piece of your own ritual space.

🎨 Every material to make it yours. Paints, brushes, stencils, and guidance the whole way through.

🕯️ A restorative sound bath by Natalie to ground into your week ahead. All props are included: yoga mats, blankets, and bolsters.

🌿 Light bites and refreshments to nourish you while you create.

There’s no glaze like home. 🌈
Hanrahan, 2026

A perfectly normal day in the ceramics studio takes a slightly unexpected turn…and then we’re not in cone 6 anymore.

Thank you to my supporting actors for putting up with my “controlled chaos.”

There is just something about paper. Being able to hold it in your hand and feel the texture and the weight – add to it a picture of someone or something that you love and that paper becomes a treasure.

I know – these are just flyers for a market.

You see flyers everywhere.

These are more. These flyers celebrate real objects made by real artists and craftsman, intentionally designed to be used and saved – a reminder of something to look forward to in the future and a celebration of what we love the most – people. pouring time and energy into a passion to create something that others will enjoy.

Join Us: November 7th for a day that is exactly how the flyers feel - Steeped in craft, built for community.
