Bhumi Lingsir came alive through the presence of Human, the rhythm of the body, and the subtle voices of nature.

Through the performance of @mangtriray and the plant sonic soundscape by @tanamanliar___ , the installation unfolded beyond its physical form—becoming a dialogue between body, space, sound, and nature.

Thank you to everyone who stepped into Bhumi Lingsir, shared a moment, and became part of its journey.

Every space begins with an idea.

For Bhumi Lingsir, that idea begins with a question:
Are the choices placed before us truly the right ones?
Through architecture, materiality, spatial experience, and landscape, the installation invites reflection on the decisions that shape our journey through life.

Insights from Ar. Jafni Zul Fahmi, IAI @jafnizulfahmi (Nawangseta) and Nicholas Roman Longfellow @harmlessgames (Living Designs Bali) offer a deeper reading of the narrative, material, spatial journey, and landscape that define Bhumi Lingsir.

Every project begins with a study.

The Bhumi Lingsir mock-up is where ideas are tested through scale, material explorations, and structural experiments. Each iteration becomes part of the process, refining form, understanding how materials behave, and shaping the dialogue between the installation and its landscape before it is realized.

To Our Dearest Friends of Mela,

With heavy hearts, we write this final letter to you.
On July 29, Mela will close its doors for the last time.

This place was more than just a restaurant.
It was where laughter lingered long after the plates were cleared.
Where strangers became friends,
and where every dish carried a piece of our love 💛 and hope for you.

We’ll always remember the smiles, the stories,
the quiet mornings, and the busy nights filled with joy.
Those memories mean the world to us.

Thank you—for every visit, every chat,
for letting us be part of your days.
Your presence gave this space its soul.

Though Mela’s doors will soon close,
the memories and gratitude stay forever.
You’ll always be part of our story.

With love,
Mela Resto 💛
