#36daysoftype_d by @arther.obj 🦠 inspiration came from a still life painting in the national portrait gallery and thought it would look so much more fun if the flowers had a jelly texture 🍭

It’s 22:22 on 22/2/22. It was this kind of cosmic palindromic symmetry that inspired me to write Laniakea - my first orchestral composition. Nearly two years ago thirty-two musicians from multiple countries recorded each part separately from their homes and the goodness of their hearts in the midst of lockdown. There were at least two renditions of each part and I combined and matched all recordings manually. The result prompted a collaboration with visual artist Denise Deák for the video, which captures the inner workings of the piece and creates a cohesive artwork. I am infinitely excited to announce that it will finally be released on 22/3/22 - exactly a month from today - and it will be available on all streaming platforms as my first ever officially released track. For now, enjoy this 22 second preview as my 22nd post. This project means a lot to me and is a testament of the resilience, adaptability and generosity of all wonderful artists involved. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
