Vienna 🧳

An exploration of anticipating a ‘next step’- rooted in bittersweet nostalgia, and delicately balanced resistance and readiness. Beautifully executed by these dancers @studiodansmd

I continue to be humbled and inspired by these dancers each year, and feel so proud of their work on this piece from their past season… 🤍

I had the best week ever at the @studiodansmd summer intensive!❤️ Words can’t describe how grateful I am for @maddierodrigue . Thank you for providing incredible opportunities and for always believing in us.

I’m so thankful to have learned from such talented teachers who challenged me, inspired me, and pushed me to become the best version of myself. Here are a few amazing combos from @kathleen_laituri , @alexxmitchelll , and @hannahgraceweinmaster 🙌

Spent my week at @reveldanceconvention nationals! Cannot express how informative and special the PANEL experience was. I was so blessed to have been given the opportunity to talk to, learn from, and audition in front of a multitude of dance programs. I’m also so thankful for the friendships and connections I made during the process. Can’t thank @reveldanceconvention enough for creating an experience like no other and @studiodansmd for preparing me for these auditions. Ending this week with an overflowing heart 💓🙌 @floridasouthern @deancollege @okcudance_ @montclair_dance @lindenwooddance @brenaudance @adelphidance @floridaatlantic @setonhill_dance @shsudance

And that’s a wrap for the 2025-26 @studiodansmd season!! Paisley grew and learned so much this year. Thank you to this amazing studio, but especially to her teacher @debcat1234 who has been growing her love for dance since childhood. Miss Dana, you challenge the kids exactly the right amount so they can be their best. It takes a patient person to put all this time and effort into these preteens and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We love you!!

This year was a celebration of 20 years of the studio and Paisley and her friends danced to “Business of Love.” The jazz number was challenging, yet so fun! Very proud of all the dancers, especially @paisleyamusic! See you in fall!!

It’s Playing Now

“Nostalgia is a way of remembering people and places and things, and wishing things hadn’t changed. It has a sweetness to it.” - Linda Lael Miller

So proud of these two @isabellapalacorolla and @emcronise for an excellent run on their final competition season. Thank you both for trusting me with my vision and executing it better than I could’ve ever imagined.

this year’s solo holds a special place in my heart, and i’m so grateful to have gotten to dance to a song i resonate with so deeply. life is filled with challenges but those obstacles help us appreciate the good moments even more. thank you so much @kathleen_laituri for choreographing this beautiful piece.
