Art has the ability to transform how we experience everyday spaces.

At India Design Mumbai 2026, Kunal Khandelwal of Studio Design Inc. shares how pieces like Kohler’s Vana basin challenge conventional perceptions of bathroom design, turning functional spaces into expressions of art and bringing a new dimension into everyday living.

Discover art that inspires a different way of living.

Behind the scenes in Hyderabad, photographing a home that feels as expressive as the person who lives in it.

Layers, colour, textures, unexpected details and little pieces of a life collected over time.

A space that doesn’t try to be perfect, it simply feels personal.

Where design becomes an experience.

At Studio Design Inc., spaces are imagined as immersive worlds where architecture, art, and storytelling converge.

Through bold geometry, sculptural forms, and a striking interplay of colour, texture, and perspective, each installation invites people to move beyond simply observing design to experience it.

Strength not displayed. Only sustained. The Gaman Totem stood at SPADE the way its name demanded quietly.

@kunalpk & @kboo75 of @studiodesigninc unveiled The Gaman Totem at SPADE — Dialogues XVIII — Synergy. 我慢 — quiet resilience. Endurance with dignity. Form held in balance without visible support. A totem inspired by that moment of ‘almost’ — when progress slows, frustration rises, and the only act of power is the discipline to continue. Among all the totems at The Leela Palace, this one didn’t shout. It held on.

This year at Design POV, the theme was “Sense & Sensibilities” 🤌🏼

Ofcourse, senses are objective- everyone sees, hears, feels, tastes and touches things.

But what does your brain, heart and soul do with all of these visions, sounds etc.

How does it perceive them?

Thats where sensibility comes in. And that’s so subjective and differs from person to person

The same sight may evoke two completely different thoughts and emotions in two different people!

And here’s a glimpse of what different people thought of our interpretation- The Beat of Life, Nafisa’s Journey 🕊️
