Wooster Street has so much good food! This is a fly-by of both sides of the street. Starting at Sally’s then down that whole side, then a fly-back facing the other side of the street.

Exchanges is here! It's incredibly special to share this album, my first for solo guitar!

Link in bio for streaming 🎉🎧🎵 Hope you enjoy it!!

Honored that the album will be featured in the next edition of Fanfare Magazine... This past year has been filled with extra creative energy because of Exchanges, and the many people who were part of the project. Incredibly thankful to recording engineer Mateusz Zechowski at StudioTeo for our work on this project. Mark Bailey provided invaluable guidance as Executive Producer. Many of our choices revolved around bringing out the inherent nuances and sounds of my concert instrument, made in 2013 by Aaron Green.

Exchanges also marks the first official release of my compositions, which introduce and conclude the album. The featured composers, Granados, Bizet, Villa-Lobos, Tansman, and Tirado, and their musical worlds, are at the core of the project. The highly expressive performance styles of composer-performers such as these musicians, as heard on early recordings, has long been a major influence on my playing style and approach to making music.

It was also a privilege to get to record pieces by the recently rediscovered 19th century Peruvian composer-guitarist Pedro Ximénez Tirado, as introduced to me by Pablo Cáceres Aranibar.

Exchanges is supported by YoungArts @youngarts PC: Paul Duda @studioduda

Thank you again to everyone involved, and I hope you enjoy listening to Exchanges!

I'm truly looking forward to returning to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to perform at "An Evening Salon—Manet/Degas" taking place on Friday, November 17th! @metmuseum

My concert program is inspired by the Manet/Degas Exhibition, and includes arrangements of music by Saint-Saëns, Offenbach, and Bizet, as well as selected composers whose work was linked to Paris through their studies and career, such as Enrique Granados, Francisco Tárrega, and others. Truly excited to perform this special collection of pieces on the museum's 1953 Ignacio Fleta Guitar!

The concerts are on Friday, November 17th at 6pm and 7pm in The André Mertens Galleries for Musical Instruments, Floor 2 @metmusicalinstruments

All events are free with Museum admission, which is pay-as-you-wish for New York Residents.

I'm really delighted to share that next weekend I'll be performing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art! @metmuseum

I'm very much looking forward to giving solo concerts as part of the Met Museum's Date Night/LiveArts series. I'll be playing on the museum's Ignacio Fleta guitar, a very special mid-20th century Spanish instrument that's part of their musical instruments collection.

The program will include original compositions, as well as works by Villa-Lobos, Granados, Tansman, and recently rediscovered 19th-century guitarist/composer from Peru, Pedro Ximénez Tirado.

The concerts will be on Friday, September 29, and Saturday, September 30, and I will be giving two concerts each night at 6pm and 7pm.

I will be performing in the Musical Instruments Galleries, and there will be concerts by the Catalyst Quartet @catalystquartet and members of the Ethel String Quartet @ethelcentral throughout the museum. It will be a wonderful evening for those attending, link in bio for the event link.

All events are free with Museum admission, which is pay-as-you-wish for New York Residents.

Parkinson's Disease has been a shadow, lingering behind my family for year's, afflicting both my aunt and uncle. This photo represents both the turbulent nature of the disease but also the strength and resilience that is shown every day by those fighting against this wretched beast. It would be great to raise any money, but it would mean the world to reach the modest goal of $3,000.
Thank you!
