Nothing profound to say 🌱 Just living sun, soil, play, rest and joy this season ☀️ it’s been a full life and every moment feels just right 🥹

And reminded about the limitations of the human body- designed to be so fully present with what is around us. We are all holding a lot so make sure to go take a nap!

More updates to come because there are a-many public activations this summer where you can find me or bump into me ideally around grass and trees or fresh veggies 🤗🍅

And then they were 12 🌱🥳🎂

Spring was not as sprung as we’d expected for frolic #73 but highlights still included: cutie maple blossoms, motherwort, garlic mustard, ‘blue’ violets, clover, burdock (and burdock seed moth larva!), toxic apeaceae babies, a garter snake, walnut buds and wee trout lilies!

Plus sweet pals old and new 👯

Plus, plus some EPIC tasty treats, many with featured foraged ingredients that were a friggin delight. Thank you to everyone who came out (and sorry to those who struggled to find the meeting location!) and to those who shared their questions, curiosities, plant knowledge and nourishing foods. 💚

We’ll be at @wintergreenstudios May 22-24 for their Land Art BioBlitz (stay tuned for details) and save the date for November 2nd for the next for sure Toronto frolic. Anything else that pops up, we’ll be sure to share in the newsletter - subscribe through the link in our bio!

We love to see an Orange Chicken leaving the kitchen.

Not your reg 🐼express, we prepare ours in the wok with onion and peppers, before drizzling in our sweet and tangy sauce. Arguably one of our most ordered dishes on the menu.

Christmas is 2 days away. Take a break from all the holiday rush/ shopping and come slow down here at the shop. We’re open from 9am-3pm today and tomorrow.
