No sync button. No digital effects. Just vinyl. 🔥

Before all the modern DJ gear, we had to get creative.

Playing a record with the needle underneath was one of those tricks!

Oldschool DJ skills still work in 2026.

Who remembers this technique? 👀

This is how I used to mix these records in the 90s.
Two turntables, working the faders and creating something different live. Pulled these records out again and started mixing.
Watch the hands — recognise either track?

PUT THE NEEDLE… UNDER THE RECORD?! 🤯💿
This is how we did it back in the day.
Same curiosity. Still experimenting.
Can you recognise this trance classic BACKWARDS? 👇
You might know our music as The Matrix, Creamteam or Laguna. I’m Erwin Spitsbaard — one of the creative minds behind those projects and co-owner of Studio Ghosttown.

Laguna. Creamteam. The Matrix. ❤️
Three names, three tracks and a lot of memories:
Laguna – Unforgiven
Creamteam – Div X
The Matrix – Protect the Innocent
Hearing these tracks again on the Blue Stage at Sunrise Festival was something special. Seeing the crowd still respond to them after all these years made it even better.
A lot of history — and plenty still to come. 🔥

Up ’n Coming
