Tasmanian Blackwood, Japanese ceramic tile, Ebony inlay, Satin polyurethane.

Pretty decent workbench for a tight footprint.
Four taps deep too, enough to keep the hop stompers of High Street happy :-)
Anchoring the entire space front and centre is a masterpiece by @house___arrest ❤️

We love building seating especially seating with chonky cushions.

Jacket has fancy drinks and chonky cushions, two birds one stone. 😏

Proper seating doesn’t happen by accident.
Every line, radius and junction mulled over so the space feels as good as it looks.

One Proper Heck of a collab with @stellingcarpentry. Built for late nights, bad decisions and one more round, please.

Great to see this @studioheck_ project featured on @thedesignfiles this week. A sunny western courtyard and warm luxe interiors.

Some rooms allow more than others.
Because the bathroom is enclosed, it gives space for contrast, materials and atmosphere-
without it affecting the rest of the home.

@studioheck_ talk about Jacket Bar.

Before opening, we sat down with interior designers Emily and Jack about their work on Jacket Bar, featuring an unusual brief sent as a jazz playlist to give an idea of the mood of the venue.

Link in bio to the jazz playlists.

Jacket Bar open from Wednesday - Sunday.

Thornbury’s newest neighbourhood bar is possibly its best-looking too. Designed by Studio Heck, you can pop in for a drink after work or settle in well after your bed time. Seriously good cocktails, welcoming staff and a dog-friendly courtyard. We can't wait to go back.

Latest addition in our Thornbury guide, link in our bio.

Our Bright Beads Disc Wall Light is made in Australia using hand-turned, responsibly sourced FSC timbers, each component celebrates the beauty of natural material and considered craftsmanship.
