Backstage Confessional: Leah 🎤

For Leah, this solo is about so much more than dance.

She dedicates it to her mom, who is currently going through cancer and has always been one of Leah’s biggest supporters. Every time Leah steps onstage, she carries her mom with her — thinking about her strength, her love, and all the moments she’s been there cheering her on.

Her mom has supported Leah through every rehearsal, every performance, and every step of her journey. Now, Leah gets to use the stage to give some of that love back.

This one is for Mom. 💗

Backstage Confessional: Brielle ✨

Dance has been part of Brielle’s life for as long as she can remember — she’s been dancing since she was a baby, and it truly means the world to her.

But even when every turn doesn’t go exactly the way she planned, Brielle knows what matters most: having fun, enjoying the moment, and doing what she loves. 💗

Because sometimes, the best performances aren’t about being perfect — they’re about loving every second you’re on that stage.

A lot of legs, a lot of adrenaline, and a whole lot of heart. 🫶

Olivia opens up about growing up with chronic anxiety and how learning to work through it has become one of her proudest accomplishments. Dance has always been connected to her mental health, giving her a place to let go and just be herself.

Onstage, she’s not overthinking, she’s having fun and feeling like the 7-year-old version of herself dancing around her room again. ✨

My last Nationals has officially come to an end. It feels incredibly surreal to walk away from something that took up so much of my time and heart, but I’m so proud of how it all ended.

I’m walking away from this decade long chapter of mine, feeling so beyond grateful. Thank you to my Studio J family for being my second home and for the countless memories we’ve shared both on and off stage. And to my mom, an extra special thank you for being my biggest supporter, for the endless sacrifices you’ve made, and for investing your time and energy into my passion. I owe so much of who I am today to all of you.💙

And to my girl Hayden, WE DID THAT🏆🏆

Missing my girl extra today as I’m watching these beautiful senior soloists on stage and wishing she were here 🥹. So I’m sharing the last time she competed her solo from @driven_talent_competition in honor of a day she would have loved to be part of.
