Welcome to Leorah,

A podcast where we will explore the intellectual history, philosophical foundations and social consequences of feminism. Through conversations with academics, researches and experts, we will examine the ideas that have shaped modern womanhood by questioning prevailing narratives, revisiting overlooked history and asking what those ideas have meant for women in practice.

Three years ago, I came across a subject I never expected to be interested in. A subject surrounded by a discourse that never quite sat right with me; but for some reason, I could never put my finger on why.

It was in the summer of 2023, while reading a random article about it, that I heard a quiet voice telling me to “look deeper”. “Deeper where?”, I thought. Little did I know that moment would mark the beginning of an incredible educational journey.

It was through the research, the learning, and eventually the sharing of my findings to those around me that everything started to fall into place. Right then and there, I knew I was being called to talk about it.

Looking back, my heart is simply full. Grateful for the journey, for the incredible people God has placed around me, and for His guidance every step of the way.

In a world that often feels heavy, where every subject is polarized and one wrong word can seem capable of ending a lifetime of work, I wanted to create space for an honest conversation.
